Load up on great prop bets for World Cup Final
Either Spain or The Netherlands will win its first-ever World Cup title this weekend, and betED.com has a ton of great prop bets as well as game odds for what will be the most-watched sports event of the year.

The Netherlands (or Holland, or the Dutch, if you prefer) take on the Spaniards in the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final on Sunday at Soccer City in Johannesburg (2:30 pm ET, ABC).
betED.com World Cup Odds have Spain as a -200 moneyline favorite while Holland is a +150 underdog.
Spain is a .5-point spread favorite (+115) and the over/under total is 2.
betED.com also has Soccer Betting Odds for Saturday’s third-place match between Germany and Uruguay, with Germany a -150 favorite and Uruguay a +380 underdog. A draw is +250.
Among the more than 20 prop bets available for both games is the time of the first goal. For Spain-Holland, the first 15 minutes is +260, and 15:01 to 30 minutes is +320.
The countries have met nine times previously in international soccer but never at the World Cup. Each has won four times, with one draw. But Holland has had the advantage in the most recent meetings: The Dutch have won three of the past four meetings, and Spain hasn’t won since 1983.
The Netherlands, whose nickname is Oranje (orange), will be trying for its first World Cup title in what will be its third final. The Dutch lost title matches in 1974 and 1978, to West Germany and Argentina, respectively.
Spain, nicknamed La Furia Roja (The Red Fury), has been favored to win the 2010 FIFA World Cup ever since it won the Euro 2008, when it beat Germany (who it also beat in the semifinals Wednesday) 1-0.
The Spanish have qualified for the FIFA World Cup 13 times, but this will be the country’s first World Cup Final.
