The NBA kicks off the New Year with five matchups on Wednesday’s slate.
The favorites carved out a slight 9-7 edge against the spread in Week 16 of the NFL regular season with the total staying UNDER in 11 of the 16 games on the slate.
The NBA and Christmas have gone hand-in-hand over the years with a holiday offering of big time matchups. This year is no exception with five showdowns on this Wednesday’s slate.
The two dominating bets in Week 15 of the NFL season were underdogs and overs. Of the 16 games on the schedule, the underdog won eight games straight-up and covered against the spread in two other contests.
There is a full slate of 12 games on this Wednesday’s NBA schedule starting at 7 p.m. (ET) so the action will be fast and furious all night long.
As far as betting on the games, I have uncovered a pair of matchups that come together perfectly to form this week’s ‘NBA Wednesday Parlay’ play.
Betting the favorites in Week 14 of the NFL regular season proved to be a profitable endeavor with 10 of 16 covering against the spread. Despite the cold and snowy weather in many of the games, the total went OVER in 10 of those contests as well.
The NBA regular season presses on into the month of December and while there is a full slate of interesting matchups on this Wednesday’s schedule of games, I have dug up a pair of gems that come together perfectly to form this week’s ‘NBA Wednesday Parlay’ play. [ad-4468020]

The Magic come into this Southeast Division clash with a six-game losing streak that has dropped them to just 6-15 straight-up on the year.
They have gone 2-3-1 against the spread during this current slide.
This will be the final stop in a brutal six-game road trip so you have to believe that Orlando has already turned its attention to Friday night’s home game against Cleveland.
Charlotte has won its last two games to pull within one victory of reaching the .500 mark at 10-11 SU. It has covered the spread in its last five games to improve to 13-7-1 ATS on the year.
The Bobcats have covered in their last three home games and in this matchup they have won four of the last six meetings SU.
They will not blow a golden opportunity to take full advantage of the road weary Magic on Wednesday night with a win at home that covers the spread.

Dallas is coming off an ugly 112-97 loss to Sacramento on the road this past Monday night as a 4.5-point favorite. It is now 4-5 SU in its last nine games and a costly 2-6 ATS in its last eight outings.
The Mavericks are 13-9 SU on the year with a 10-11-1 record ATS.
They are 4-7 SU on the road this season and this will be their third road game in five nights before returning home for three straight games starting this upcoming Saturday night.
The Warriors lost to Dallas 103-99 on Nov. 27 as 4.5-point road underdogs, but they are in excellent position to avenge that defeat come Wednesday night.
Golden State is 12-10 SU overall with a healthy 6-2 SU record at home. It returns home from a three-game road trip and coming off a 115-111 loss to Charlotte as a six-point road favorite this past Monday.
While both of these teams’ current form leaves much to be desired, the home court edge looms big in this matchup.
Look for the Warriors to right the ship on Wednesday night by covering the spread to secure the back-end of this week’s NBA Wednesday Parlay.
The dogs carved-out a slight 8-7-1 edge over the favorites against the spread last week in the NFL but the best action was on the total line. The total stayed UNDER the closing line in 10 of the 16 games on Week 13’s slate.
NBA Wednesday Parlay- Dec. 4
As the weather keeps turning colder outside, the action in the NBA continues to stay hot. While there is a full slate of interesting matchups on this Wednesday’s slate, I have uncovered two gems that come together perfectly to form this week’s ‘NBA Wednesday Parlay’ play.
The dogs had their day last week in the NFL with seven teams getting points wining their game straight-up and another two covering with the points. For the second week in a row the total line was evenly split with seven games going OVER and seven staying UNDER the closing line.

Looking back at the results from Week 10 in the NFL, the underdogs ruled the day by covering the spread in nine of the 14 games on the schedule. When it came to the total line, eight of the game stayed UNDER the closing line.
This season’s NASCAR Sprint Cup title comes down to just 400 laps around the Homestead-Miami Speedway this Sunday afternoon in the running of the Ford EcoBoost 400.
Last week in the NFL the underdogs had a slight 7-6 edge over the favorites against the spread on the strength of Minnesota and Tampa Bay covering in a close loss. Higher scoring games remained the norm for the fourth week in a row with nine of the 13 games going OVER the closing total line.
There are just two races left in this year’s Chase and just two drivers battling it out for the NASCAR’s 2013 Sprint Cup title starting with this Sunday’s running of the AdvoCare 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.
The favorites had the edge over the underdogs for the second-straight week in the NFL with teams giving points covering in eight of the 13 games on Week 8’s schedule. The total also favored higher scoring games for the third week in a row with eight of the games going OVER the closing total line.
