The tour heads to Bethesda, MD and Congressional Country Club for the AT&T National which is hosted by none other than Tiger Woods. Tiger missed his own tournament last season because of the knee surgery that sidelined him for nearly 10 months. He is back and is the big favorite this week in what is a healthy but not overly impressive field.

Only four of the OWGR Top Ten players are in action with Paul Casey (3), Vijay Singh (9) and Jim Furyk (10) joining Tiger.

Doc Sports Sports Week In Review

This Week in Betting, A-Z

Doc Sports

A – Albuquerque. Manny Ramirez returned to action in the minors this week in preparation for his return to the pros next week, and as you would expect from him it was a bit of a circus. His first stop was in Albuquerque, where he was hitless in two Triple-A games while generally ignoring the media. A change was in order, so he headed to California to play A-ball. Ever the great teammate, he went 2-for-2 with a home run for the Inland Empire 66ers before leaving the ballpark in the fifth inning.

Bodog MLB Betting: The Bettor’s Box

MLB Bettor’s Box

Baseball fans got a very rare treat Sunday night when New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera came up to bat for just the third time in his career – against New York Mets closer Francisco Rodriguez, no less. Ben Burns’ Bad Beats

Bad beats: Bad defense and the bad Nats

Through Saturday, the Twins had committed the second fewest errors in all of baseball.

That’s what makes Wednesday’s loss in Milwaukee so tough to swallow.

Leading 3-2 with two outs in the eighth inning, emerging Twins ace Nick Blackburn (+$154 on the season) was cruising toward his second straight complete game, when J.J. Hardy blooped a harmless single into center field.
