Since he is not overpowering he has to be sharper with his command.<\/p>\n After stumbling into the break the Cards have surged after it.<\/p>\n They are 5-1 and riding a three game winning streak heading into this series. They continue to keep plugging guys in and getting results.<\/p>\n Still I think they need to make a move for a bat but you couldn\u2019t argue with them if they decide to stand pat and play this thing out.<\/p>\n They have rebuilt their lead over Pittsburgh to six games and every time they get close they are able to build it back up again. That\u2019s what good teams do.<\/p>\n The Cards have the top ERA in the Majors even though they have been relying on guys like Tim Cooney.<\/p>\n Cooney has not been bad but they were not expecting him to be part of the rotation this season.<\/p>\n Amazingly even though the Cardinals seem to win every game Cooney does not even have a decision this season.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63745&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The Cards are just 1-4 in his starts.
