NASCAR\u2019s Sprint Cup series will pay its first visit this year to Michigan International Speedway<\/strong> for the running of this season\u2019s Quicken Loans 400<\/strong>. Sunday\u2019s race is slated to get underway at 1 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast nationally on FOX Sports 1.<\/p>\n Quicken Loans 400 Race Preview and Prediction<\/strong> Last Sunday was a good time to be betting longshots if you had Martin Truex Jr. as your pick with his first checkered flag in quite some time. <\/p>\n Kevin Harvick and Jimmie Johnson continued their dominance of the Sprint Cup series this season by placing second and third.<\/p>\n The following is a look at my top favorite, contender and longshot to win this Sunday\u2019s Quicken Loans 400 based on betting odds provided by Sportsbook.ag<\/p>\n I am going chalk this week with a play on Kevin Harvick<\/strong> as a +400 favorite to break through at Michigan with a win. Going back over his last four runs at this track in both the 2013 and 2014 season, he has finished second in all four events. <\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63742&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Finishing second has been a common occurrence for the No. 4 car this season. To go along with two early season victories at Las Vegas and Phoenix, last week\u2019s second-place finish was the eighth time this season that Harvick was the runner-up in a Sprint Cup point race. <\/p>\n Common betting sense tells you that anyone coming that close on a regular basis is bound to reverse that position by taking the checkered flag sooner than later.<\/p>\n It has been hit or miss with Brad Keselowski<\/strong> this season, but I like his chances this week at longer +1200 betting odds to win. <\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63791&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The No. 2 car basically secured its spot in this year\u2019s Chase earlier in the year with a victory at Fontana and the team then went on a mini-hot streak with two more top-five finishes.<\/p>\n Since that point Keselowski has only cracked the top-10 twice in his last seven Sprint Cup point races, but I still like his recent track record at Michigan. He finished third in last year\u2019s race and eighth in the next race here that season.<\/p>\n Inspired by Truex Jr.\u2019s win last week, I am rolling the dice on Kyle Larson<\/strong> as my longshot pick this week at +2000 betting odds. <\/p>\n He is still looking for his first ever Sprint Cup victory in just his second full-time season racing the No. 42 car, but he did come close a few weeks back with a third-place finish on the Monster Mile at Dover.<\/p>\n He followed that up with a respectable eighth-place finish this past Sunday at Pocono. This team is currently on the outside looking in as far as this year\u2019s Chase, which always keeps everyone hungry. <\/p>\n Larson will be making just his third start in a Sprint Cup race at Michigan, but he did post a solid eighth-place finish his first time around in last year\u2019s race.<\/p>\n\n
