In his first start against the Blue Jays, which was also his first start of the season, Jimenez didn\u2019t allow a run over seven innings of work, surrendering only one hit and striking out eight while walking just one in a 7-1 victory in Baltimore.<\/p>\n In his next start against the Blue Jays, Jimenez gave up four runs over five innings of work, surrendering two home runs on six hits in a 4-2 Toronto victory.<\/p>\n Toronto\u2019s most important hitters haven\u2019t had a lot of success against Jimenez. Jose Bautista is 2-for-29 against Jimenez in his career, striking out six times. Edwin Encarnacion is 6-for-28, and Josh Donaldson is 1-for-12. Among those hits, only five went for extra bases.<\/p>\n Picking a winner in this matchup isn\u2019t easy. Both starting pitchers have the potential to get lit up, and both offenses have the ability to put up a ton of runs in a hurry.
