In his last start – against the Chicago White Sox – Jimenez gave up two runs, but they were unearned.<\/p>\n On the flip side, the Mets send out Jacob deGrom.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=10&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n His ERA is bumped up by a lousy performance across the way in New York against the Yankees, in which he gave up six runs over five innings of work, including three home runs at that hitter-friendly venue.<\/p>\n Even still, deGrom\u2019s K\/9 rate is down from the 9.2 K\/9 he sported a year ago which was out of whack with what he did in the minors.<\/p>\n While deGrom has never faced the Mets, Jimenez\u2019s last appearance against them came way back in 2011 when he was still a member of the Colorado Rockies.<\/p>\n He was chased from that game in the fourth inning after giving up five runs on three hits and walking six batters.<\/p>\n Probably not worth reading too much into that one.<\/p>\n The Mets have been as good at home as any team in baseball, and getting them in their own ballpark at a short price is certainly a favorable proposition.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63745&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Additionally, the Orioles have had trouble scoring against N.L. East opponents, and the Mets have been having trouble scoring against anyone, making the under worth a look as well.<\/p>\n\n
