Both teams won their last game, but the Rockets are playing much better. Houston are 8-2 in their last 10 games compared to the Mavericks who are just 5-5 in their last 10 games.<\/p>\n

The home teams have dominated this H2H series. Houston are 2-1 in the series, but the Mavs won the last meeting (111-100) at home. This is also a much bigger game for the Mavs than the Rockets.<\/p>\n
These two teams are high scoring. Houston averages 103.5 PPG (7th) and Dallas averages 104.5 PPG (3rd). I expect a lot of points, but the total is high at 210.5 points and I\u2019ll be passing on the over\/under market.<\/p>\n
Defensively, both teams are allowing over 100+ points per game, as the Rockets allow 100.2 PPG (16th) and the Mavericks allow 101.3 PPG (22nd). Houston also has a small edge in rebounding.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m betting on the Mavericks and I haven\u2019t given it a second thought. Dallas need to win this game much more than the Rockets do, the home team has dominated the series and Dallas is much healthier.<\/p>\n
In fact, the Mavs don\u2019t have a single injury right now. Rondo, Ellis, Parsons, Nowitzki and Chandler are all ready to go tonight. Houston have several players out, including Beverley and Howard is a GTD.<\/p>\n
Motiejunas and Papanikolaou are both ruled out already too. Houston\u2019s bench has limited depth now due to the injuries and I\u2019m sure they\u2019re more worried about getting healthy than beating Dallas tonight.<\/p>\n
If Howard ends up sitting out, which I think is likely, the Mavs are going to be able to dominate in the paint with Chandler. He\u2019ll be able to grab 15+ rebounds and put away several offensive rebounds.<\/p>\n

Rondo should have a huge game too. He likely won\u2019t breakout and score a bunch of points, but he\u2019ll be able to run all over the court and dish it out, as Jason Terry is starting at PG for the Rockets.<\/p>\n

Everything is pointing towards a Mavericks win and I\u2019m going with the numbers in this one. Dallas is still in good shape in the West, but they don\u2019t want to keep losing and end up playing GSW in R1 of the playoffs.<\/p>\n

Most of the point spread action has come in on Dallas, which I don\u2019t like, but the public wins too and this is one game where I can\u2019t see the Mavs losing against a banged up Rockets team.<\/p>\n
