ACC and SEC Tournament Power Rankings<\/h2>\n

My two favorite Conference tournaments, the ACC and the SEC, get underway here on Thursday afternoon.\u00a0 I’m a diehard South Carolina Gamecocks fan but I absolutely love the North Carolina Tar Heels.\u00a0 I’ve been a big Tar Heel fan since the mid 70’s back when Phil Ford ran the show.We’re going to take a look at my current power ratings for both the ACC and the SEC and try to give you a sleeper as well as who I think will win the tournament.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Let’s start off in the ACC.\u00a0 Here are those power rankings from the Rocketman.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

      No surprise I have the Top ranked North Carolina Tar Heels leading the way in the ACC, followed by Duke, Clemson and Wake Forest.\u00a0 Georgia Tech and Virginia are the cellar dwellers in the ACC this year.\u00a0\u00a0 Over in the SEC, a big surprise at #1 with Auburn along with another surprise at #2 with Alabama.\u00a0 Although these two teams are at the top of my rankings, don’t be surprised by an early exit in the tournament.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
