They\u2019re only 4.5 games back from the Hornets in the East, but the current losing streak has been dropping them back.<\/p>\n The Knicks come into this game with a 5-5 record in their last 10, which is better than the Celtics who are just 3-7. New York has 7 wins at home this season and this would be considered a winnable game.<\/p>\n In fact, the Knicks are even small favorites, but that\u2019s not really surprising. Boston is 7-15 on the road and has been playing poorly. I actually like the way the Knicks have been playing with their current line-up.<\/p>\n Carmelo Anthony is finally healthy and he has been playing better. The Knicks need their superstar to play like one consistently. Galloway has been the most impressive NYK during their recent stretch.<\/p>\n Galloway has only started in 7 games this season, but he\u2019s averaging 12.0 PPG, 4.0 RPG and 2.9 APG. He\u2019s starting at SG right now and should continue to get the start if he can keep playing like he has been.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63727&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n On paper the Knicks average 92.7 PPG (28th), 40.0 RPG (29th) and 21.5 APG (13th) while giving up 100.2 PPG (20th). Those numbers are ugly, but they\u2019ve been slowly improving over the Knicks last 10 games.<\/p>\n Boston may have been losing a lot lately, but they\u2019ve had a tough schedule to deal with. The Celtics are averaging 100.9 PPG (14th), 43.3 RPG (16th) and 24.5 APG (4th) while giving up 103.0 PPG (25th) this year.<\/p>\n Olynyk is out right now, but I\u2019ve been impressed with Bass at C. He has been putting up some monster games lately. Turner and Bradley have also been impressive, but the problem is Boston just isn\u2019t good.<\/p>\n They lack any superstar talent and their bench is very depleted. You can\u2019t blame the starters for the bad run because most of them have played well. Crowder has only been the really bad disappointment.<\/p>\n This is going to be a close match-up, but I\u2019m siding with the small underdog. Crowder may be playing bad, but one thing he does well is play defense and he\u2019ll be matched up against Anthony all night.<\/p>\n Boston Celtics +1.5 (-110)<\/b><\/p>\n If he can shutdown Anthony the Celtics have a great shot at winning. They\u2019ll need Sullinger and Bass to both dominate the paint as well.
