It\u2019s been two weeks since we updated the Rankings \u2013 the All-Star break has here and now it is time for teams to saddle up and race to the finish. Although there has been some reshuffling, the elite 5 remain in the top tier after two weeks while some surprise teams are knocking on the door of a dirty dozen spot.<\/p>\n

With the All-Star break taking place this weekend, where does you favorite team lay in the bi-weekly edition of the NHL Power Rankings? Let\u2019s take a look.<\/p>\n
1. Anaheim Ducks 31-10-6 (Two Weeks Ago: 3) <\/h3>\n
The Ducks head into the All-Star break with the best record in the NHL and on a five game win streak. We all knew that the offense would do the job but how about Frederik Andersen?<\/p>\n
2. Nashville Predators 30-10-5 (Two Weeks Ago: 1) <\/h3>\n
Pekka Rinne has been out for a couple weeks and is still expected to be out some time but the team is 7-1-2 in their last 10 games \u2013 impressive. The offense is exceeding expectations and the team is third best in the NHL with a +22 goal differential thanks to a league best goals against.<\/p>\n

3. Tampa Bay Lightning 30-14-4 (Two Weeks Ago: 2) <\/h3>\n
The Lightning enter the break with the best offense in the game (156 goals) and have won three straight games. A mini-slump last week is a thing of the past!<\/p>\n
4. New York Islanders 31-14-1 (Two Weeks Ago: 4) <\/h3>\n
The Islanders just keep defying the odds! They are fourth in the overall standings and have scored 151 goals so far \u2013 second best in the league. Those of you waiting for the dropoff will be waiting for a long, long time it appears!<\/p>\n
5. New York Rangers 27-13-5 (Two Weeks Ago: 5) <\/h3>\n
The Rangers are 8-2-0 in their last 10 games and head into the break on a three game wins streak \u2013 they have won 15 of their last 18 games! They have a +28 goal differential \u2013 second best in the East, have a scorching Rick Nash and of course \u2013 Henrik Lundqvist.<\/p>\n
6. St. Louis Blues 29-13-4 (Two Weeks Ago: 8) <\/h3>\n
The Blues have shrugged off an unflattering stretch and have gone 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. They have allowed just 111 goals this season \u2013 fourth best in the league and own one of the most balanced lineups in the game.<\/p>\n

7. Montreal Canadiens 29-13-3 (Two Weeks Ago: 9) <\/h3>\n
I\u2019m still baffled as to why PK Subban isn\u2019t an All-Star! They beat the Preds and the Islanders last week and are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games overall. Montreal is for real \u2013 able to get it done in both ends of the rink.<\/p>\n
8. Detroit Red Wings 27-11-9 (Two Weeks Ago: 10)<\/h3>\n
The Wings have climbed to fifth in the Overall Standings at the All-Star break thanks to an 8-2-0 stretch. They have won five straight games and look as dangerous a team as there is in the East.<\/p>\n
9. Chicago Blackhawks 30-15-2 (Two Weeks Ago: 6) <\/h3>\n
The Hawks are in a slump by their standards \u2013 just 5-5-0 in their last 10 games. The problem has been goal scoring \u2013 I can\u2019t see that problem existing for long!<\/p>\n
10. Pittsburgh Penguins 26-12-8 (Two Weeks Ago: 7) <\/h3>\n
The Penguins are just 4-3-3 in their last 10 games and lost to Philadelphia again on Wednesday. Evgeni Malkin is out indefinitely and Kris Letang is still feeling the effects of a dirty hit – a little adversity for what should be a top 5 team. They enter the Break on a two-game OT losing streak but like the Hawks, I can\u2019t see it lasting.<\/p>\n
11. Washington Capitals 24-13-9 (Two Weeks Ago: 11) <\/h3>\n
The Capitals look like a different team with Barry Trotz behind the bench. They are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games, Brayden Holtby is on fire and Alex Ovechkin is\u2026 Alex Ovechkin.<\/p>\n

12. Boston Bruins 26-16-7 (Two Weeks Ago: 12) <\/h3>\n
The Bruins are finally starting to flex their muscle \u2013 they are 6-1-3 in their last 10 games and sit in a tie with Washington for 12th in the Overall standings. It was only a matter of time.<\/p>\n
13. Winnipeg Jets 26-14-8 (Two Weeks Ago: 15)<\/strong>
