Washington is just 5-5 in their L10 games, but they have a very impressive 14-4 record when playing at home this season.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63742&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n This is a tough match-up to predict because of the massive point spread. The Wizards are going to win at home, but will they win by 15+ points? Recent performances and H2H trends suggest they won\u2019t.<\/p>\n The Wizards haven\u2019t been dominating opponents in a while and they\u2019ve been lucky to scrap by with the wins that they\u2019ve gotten. This is an extremely talented team, but they play down to the opponent.<\/p>\n Washington is scoring 99.8 PPG (18th) while only allowing 97.5 PPG (4th). They\u2019ve only been average on the glass (42.7 RPG \u2013 14th), but they dish the rock well (24.8 APG \u2013 4th). They really should be better on paper.<\/p>\n This is a team with John Wall, Bradley Beal, Paul Pierce, Marcin Gortat and Nene Hilario. They have a ton of depth off the bench. They have size in the paint and they have one of the best guard duos in the NBA.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63727&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n NYK has shown some life on the defensive end of the floor (101.2 PPG \u2013 21st), but they rank 29th in points scored (93.1 PPG) and rebounds (39.5 RPG). Losing Tyson Chandler in the off-season really hurt this team.<\/p>\n The Knicks just traded J.R. Smith recently as well, so the talent took another hit. Carmelo Anthony has no one to work with, but he\u2019s still putting up 23.9 PPG. He seems to lack killer instinct on the court though.<\/p>\n Amar\u2019e Stoudemire is also out of the line-up for the Knicks. However, that may not be a bad thing, as Acy and Aldrich are both playing great. With the injuries and loss of Smith this team is a mess though.<\/p>\n They\u2019ve been blown out in five consecutive games now and there is no sign of life. <\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63741&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Anthony is going to still produce scoring, but that\u2019s about it. I\u2019ll be betting on the Wizards even though the spread is huge.<\/p>\n I may regret this bet, but the public is on the Knicks right now and I just can\u2019t see them hanging around with this game in Washington. The Knicks smallest loss in the L5 is 13 points and that was against MIL.<\/p>\n Washington Wizards \u201314.5 (-110)<\/b><\/p>\n The H2H trends have been close, which worries me a bit also.
