Let\u2019s break it down.<\/p>\n Remember when the St. Louis Rams posted back-to-back shutouts and scored 76 points over that span in games against the Raiders and Redskins? It\u2019s hard to believe that it was only four weeks ago! Since that time the Rams have fallen back to earth and have lost consecutive games \u2013 to the shorthanded Cardinals and the unflattering Giants.<\/p>\n Not a whole lot has gone right for St. Louis as of late \u2013 the defense looked OK two games back against the Cardinals but got exposed by Eli Manning and the Giants last week while Shaun Hill and the offense hasn\u2019t looked all that dangerous at all.<\/p>\n The Rams offense is averaging 21.2 points and 319.3 yards per game and – QB Shaun Hill has 8 touchdowns and 5 interceptions, Tre Mason has rushed for 737 yards and four touchdowns and Jared Cook is the leading receiver with 49 catches. Not great numbers – the defense is likely going to have to shine in order for this team, to be able to keep things close.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The Rams defense allows 22.3 points and 351.5 yards and they are minus one in turnover ratio – they harassed the Seahawks defense all day long in the first meeting but don’t quite look the same at this point of the season.<\/p>\n Keep in mind that this Rams team has beaten the Hawks and the Broncos already this year \u2013 they are capable of making some noise any given week.<\/p>\n The Seattle Seahawks are peaking \u2013 to say the least! On both sides of the ball they are looking dangerous \u2013 as potent as any team in the game right now. The Seahawks defense has now given up a total of 33 points in the last five games combined! Seattle is 5-0 over the past five weeks and has outscored teams 114-33 in those five games \u2013 as dominant on both sides of the ball as we have seen from any team this year. The streak included a 35-6 win last week against Arizona \u2013 one of the best defenses in the league.<\/p>\n The Hawks defense has clamped down to say the least \u2013 they haven\u2019t allowed more than 64 yards rushing in the last four games, they have allowed a grand total of three touchdowns and five field goals in its last five games and they have made life absolutely miserable for all of their opposition as of late. This unit gets a crack at a Rams offense that has been stuck in neutral the last two weeks \u2013 advantage Seattle!<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n On Sunday night Seattle gained 596 yards against one of the best defenses in the game \u2013 Russell Wilson passed for 339 yards and the combination of Lunch and Wilson rushed for 267 yards and three TDs. Every aspect of Seattle\u2019s offense is clicking right now \u2013 if the mighty Cards couldn\u2019t slow them in the desert, it is nearly unfathomable to think the Rams will be able to slow the Hawks at CenturyLink.<\/p>\n \u2022 Under is 22-6-1 in STL last 29 games in December. There is a chance that the Seahawks know their fate by the time they take to the field on Sunday and could take their foot off the gas a tad but the way that they are playing and on home turf, they should roll despite.<\/p>\n Motivation to beat a team that beat them already this year, the 12th man and the fact that Seattle can\u2019t seem to do any wrong should propel them to an easy win here.<\/p>\n\n
