Let\u2019s face it \u2013 the Cards just need to get through this week and hope and pray that Drew Stanton is healthy enough to get himself into Arizona\u2019s next game.<\/p>\n Thomas has thrown nine NFL passes and has completed just one so far \u2013 that came to Andre Ellington who himself is out for the season. If Thomas struggles however we will likely see Lindley back in the game \u2013 Lindley has yet to throw a TD pass in 225 NFL pass attempts! To make matters worse for the Cardinals offensively is the fact that either Stephan Taylor or Kerwynn Williams will be the starting running backs for the Cards \u2013 yikes!<\/p>\n Arizona\u2019s strength \u2013 the defense was seriously exposed last week to the tune of 596 yards against.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Expect another run-heavy attack against this week \u2013 the 49ers rumbled for 355 yards last week and will likely attack the Cards gave up boat loads of rushing yards to the Seahawks in a 35-6 drubbing last week.<\/p>\n It should be an emotional game for the San Francisco 49ers this week \u2013 if they can\u2019t get up for their coach\u2019s swan song, there is little hope. Along with Harbaugh, this could be the last game in a 49ers uniform for Frank Gore \u2013 you can bet every player on the 49ers roster will give their best to two guys that have made the franchise so successful.<\/p>\n Last week Colin Kaepernick got back to what has made him so successful \u2013 he ran for 151 yards in a loss to the Chargers while throwing for just 114 yards \u2013 a 90 yard TD run was arguably his highlight of the season. The offense resembled more of the one that has made them one of the most feared teams in the game the last few years \u2013 they were untouchable on the ground last week and the passing game was more of a decoy than a focal point.<\/p>\n Like the Cardinals there has to be some concern over the defense in San Francisco \u2013 one that was carved up last week against Philip Rivers and the boys.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Ray MacDonald has been officially let go and the availability of Aldon Smith is seriously in question after he admitted to being with MacDonald around the time of the alleged sexual assault. The good news is that Arizona will likely pose little threat against the defense this week.<\/p>\n \u2022 ARI are 13-3 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. The 49ers have won five straight games at home versus Arizona \u2013 expect more of the same this week. Emotion alone should carry the 49ers this week \u2013 there is no way they don\u2019t lay everything on the line for their coach and their most trusted running back.<\/p>\n Add in the fact that the Cards will start a raw rookie at QB and a couple of underwhelming running backs and this looks like an easy win for San Francisco.
