NASCAR Sprint Cup Futures<\/strong>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
With the countdown to February\u2019s Daytona 500 in full gear, it is a perfect time to take a closer look at Sportsbook\u2019s NASCAR futures odds to win the 2015 Sprint Cup title.<\/p>\n
The Favorites (odd of less than 10\/1)<\/h3>\n
It is no big surprise that six-time Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson has been opened as next season\u2019s odds-on favorite to win another title at 9\/2 betting odds. From 2006 to 2010 the No. 48 car completely dominated this series with five title runs and Johnson made it six by winning again in 2013. <\/p>\n
This past season he fell to 11th<\/sup> in the standings so this team\u2019s motivation level will be sky-high to get back on top in 2015.<\/p>\n
Both Jeff Gordon and Kevin Harvick have been listed as 6\/1 second favorites to win the 2015 Sprint Cup. Gordon has been racing in this series since 1993 and the last time he won a title was in 2001, but the No. 24 team is coming off its most successful season in years. <\/p>\n
Gordon made his way to the Winner\u2019s Circle four times and he ended-up sixth in the final standings.<\/p>\n
Harvick came extremely close to claiming the Sprint Cup title in 2010, but he sealed the deal this past season with a stirring victory at Homestead-Miami to claim the 2014 title. <\/p>\n

Under the new rules of the Chase it is all about wining come playoff time and the No. 4 car proved it could rise to the task when it needed to the most.<\/p>\n
The betting odds for the other two favorites have Brad Keselowski listed at 7\/1 followed by Joey Logano at 8\/1.<\/p>\n
The Contenders (odds from 10\/1 to 19\/1) <\/h3>\n
Matt Kenseth went from leading the Sprint Cup series in victories in 2013 with seven to getting completely shutout in last season\u2019s 36-race run. Despite the drought, he still raced well enough to finish seventh in the final standings. <\/p>\n
Heading into next season, he is listed at 10\/1 odds to get back to his winning ways and guide the No. 20 car to the title.<\/p>\n
If you looking to bet on a driver that flew completely under the radar last season while still managing to finish ninth in the standings then Carl Edwards is your man at 12\/1 odds. <\/p>\n
The problem with Edwards is his inability to win on a consistent basis with just five combined checkered flags in his last four seasons.<\/p>\n
Kyle Busch has also been listed at 12\/1 odds to win the 2015 Sprint Cup title after finishing 10th<\/sup> in last season\u2019s standings, followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Denny Hamlin at 15\/1.<\/p>\n
The Longshots (odds 20\/1 or greater)<\/h3>\n
Kyle Larson and Tony Stewart head-up this group at 20\/1 odds to win next year\u2019s Cup, but there is some tremendous value much farther down the list with Ryan Newman sporting 40\/1 odds. <\/p>\n
He was able to race his way into last season\u2019s final four heading into the season finale at Homestead-Miami and despite the fact that the No. 31 car failed to win a race last season, this team still managed to finish second in the final Sprint Cup standings.<\/p>\n
