Baltimore is on a 2-game winning streak after dismantling the Saints (34-27) last week on the road after coming off a week 11 bye.<\/p>\n
On paper there is little doubt that the Ravens are the better team, but will they cover \u20136 points? That\u2019s a lot of points to cover even at home, especially when you\u2019re going up against a gunslinger like Rivers.<\/p>\n

The Chargers are averaging 22.3 PPG (15th), 248.2 PYPG (13th) and 89.5 RYPG (27th). Those numbers aren\u2019t great, but I expect Rivers to have a lot of success against the Ravens poor secondary this weekend.<\/p>\n
Baltimore\u2019s defense is giving up 18.9 PPG (6th), 88.3 RYPG (6th) and a whopping 264.6 PYPG (29th). Rivers should be able to put up close to 300 passing yards in this one and if he does that SD will cover.<\/p>\n
Keenan Allen and Gates have been playing well this season, but SD could use a #1 WR with not only size, but speed as well. SD has a lot of small receivers and that\u2019s not helping Rivers out any in my opinion.<\/p>\n

Baltimore\u2019s offense has been leaning on the run lately, as Joe Flacco isn\u2019t getting it done. Baltimore has been scoring a lot (26.8 PPG \u2013 6th) due to an effective run game (132.4 RYPG \u2013 6th) so far this season.<\/p>\n
The Ravens are only averaging 240.1 PYPG (16th) and that number should be higher with the WR\u2019s they have. Torrey Smith has been a big disappointment again considering his size and speed at WR.<\/p>\n
SD is allowing 19.6 PPG (7th) and 221.3 PYPG (6th), so they should have no problem stopping Flacco, but stopping the run game will be another story.<\/p>\n
The Chargers are giving up 108.8 RYPG (15th) this year.<\/p>\n

Justin Forsett has been running wild lately and the Chargers game plan has to be to stop him. If they can force Flacco to beat them in Baltimore this week their chances of winning on the road are better.<\/p>\n

These two teams don\u2019t play each other much, but the H2H series is relatively even in year\u2019s past although they didn\u2019t play each other last year. I\u2019m taking the points, as Rivers will be able to air it out effectively.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t trust Flacco and the Ravens run game isn\u2019t that strong. SD can stack the box to keep Forsett limited in this game. Baltimore will also kill a lot of clock running the football, so covering \u20136 won\u2019t be easy.<\/p>\n
