If you are in, that\u2019s a good thing. If you\u2019re out, that usually means you\u2019ve got some bad karma floating around that has either bitten you on the ass or is about to.<\/p>\n

In<\/strong>: Ken Griffey Jr. Had his career not been slowed by injuries, no one would be talking about Barry Bonds or Alex Rodriguez. Griffey Jr. would be baseball\u2019s all-time homerun leader. As it stands he is 5th all time on the homerun list with 611. And every one of them is clean. He gets to finish his career where it started with the Seattle Mariners<\/p>\n

Out<\/strong>: Kevin Garnett who is out for three weeks with a strained knee. That injury could also knock the Celtics out of the top spot in the Eastern Conference. No will see how good the \u201cBig Two\u201d are.<\/p>\n

In<\/strong>: Maryland. The Terps rallied from 16 points down to beat 3rd-ranked North Carolina 88-85 in overtime. The Terrapins victory makes my point (again) there is no clear cut #1 team in College Basketball.<\/p>\n

Out<\/strong>: UCLA. Just when you think they\u2019re getting their act together, they lose at home to a conference team they should have beaten (again). Mark my words. It won\u2019t matter what seed the Bruins get in the dance. They\u2019re one and down material this year.<\/p>\n

In<\/strong>: Golf. Tiger Woods will return from an eight-month absence to defend his title at the match-play championship. All of us who enjoy watching perhaps the greatest golfer ever, we\u2019re all in as well. For those who say they don\u2019t like Tiger or get tired of seeing him win practically every event he enters, then you\u2019re OUT. This is a one-man dynasty. It\u2019s fun to see him pile up the victories.<\/p>\n

Out<\/strong>: It pains me to say this but Dale Earnhardt Jr. your out. The \u201cJunior Nation\u201d will burn me in effigy for saying this but the ride is over. Your 34 years old, you\u2019ve got one Daytona 500 victory and not much else to show for your efforts. That of course doesn\u2019t include the millions each year in endorsements. #88 you\u2019re still my favorite driver, but you\u2019re starting to draw competitive and advertising comparisons to Anna Kournakova. Not good.<\/p>\n

In<\/strong>: Any big league team that has sense enough not to sign Manny Ramirez.<\/p>\n

Out<\/strong>: Any MLB team that DOES sign Man-Ram.<\/p>\n

Also on the out (non sports category) is my future son-in-law and my daughter who chose this loser. It\u2019s not like you can\u2019t find another guy who is jobless, drinks beer all day and has no class. Please tell everyone at the wedding I said hello.<\/p>\n
