Three different quarterbacks have started for the team and the backup Drew Stanton has been tabbed as starter for the rest of the season after Carson Palmer went down with injury.<\/p>\n The Cards are coming off an impressive win against the other top seed in the NFC \u2013 the Detroit Lions in a game that their defense dominated and their offense did just enough.<\/p>\n Arizona\u2019s defense has been sensational this year \u2013 they held a very good Detroit offense out of the end zone last week and limited them to just six points.<\/p>\n The Cards surrendered just 262 yards of offense to the Lions last week \u2013 almost 100 yards below the Lions\u2019 seasonal average. The Cards held Calvin Johnson in check and they didn\u2019t allow Detroit\u2019s running game to get on track.<\/p>\n The most important matchup this week will be Arizona\u2019s third ranked run defense (78.6 yards per game) against Marshawn Lynch. Seattle\u2019s passing offense scares nobody \u2013 Arizona will have to key on Lynch and Russell Wilson to have success \u2013 you have to like their chances based on the way they have been playing.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Offensively the Cardinals aren\u2019t anything special \u2013 they are just solid in every aspect.<\/p>\n Andre Ellington is a dangerous runner but hasn\u2019t done much, Drew Stanton won\u2019t wow you but he won\u2019t hurt you and the trio of Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd and John Brown are more than capable of holding their own against Seattle\u2019s surprisingly susceptible pass defense.<\/p>\n The Seattle Seahawks have a ton of work to do to not only defend their Super Bowl crown but to just qualify for the postseason.<\/p>\n A good first step will be do cool off the Cardinals \u2013 one of the teams they are chasing in the division.<\/p>\n Off a 24-20 loss against the Chiefs in a game that Jamaal Charles rumbled for 159 yards and two scores the Hawks defense is front and center again \u2013 just what Richard Sherman and company have created form themselves.<\/p>\n The good news for Seattle is that the Cards are the second worst rushing offense in the NFL \u2013 there will be no Jamaal Charles or DeMarco Murray to terrorize them.<\/p>\n That would seem to leave the onus on Seattle\u2019s pass defense that will be tasked with limiting Drew Stanton and the Arizona passing game.<\/p>\n Stanton did throw for 306 yards, 2 TDs and 2 interceptions against Detroit \u2013 Seattle third ranked pas defense (215 yards per game allowed) should have its hands full.<\/p>\n Perhaps the biggest concern for the Seahawks heading into Sunday\u2019s clash is the play of their offense. It hasn\u2019t been great folks \u2013 outside of Marshawn Lynch nobody has stepped up in the absence of Percy Harvin and Golden Tate.<\/p>\n The Hawks are without a real threat in the passing game \u2013 far too one-dimensional at this point in time.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n If Lynch struggles, the Hawks are in trouble.<\/p>\n But at home you have to figure that Lynch and Russell Wilson will bring something special.<\/p>\n \u2022 ARI are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games. It is hard to believe that the league\u2019s best team is a 6 1\/2 point underdog \u2013 seriously!<\/p>\n Seattle has failed to cover in five of their last six games while the Cards have covered in five straight \u2013 expect that trend to continue.<\/p>\n
