I\u2019m also betting on Stanford to cover the TD spread at home. <\/p>\n NCAA Football Point Spread:<\/b> Wisconsin \u20136 We have two of the best rushing offenses and overall defenses in the nation meeting in this game. These two teams don\u2019t have many recent H2H games, but since 2011 Wisconsin is 2-1 (3-0 ATS). <\/p>\n Wisconsin comes into this game averaging 36.8 PPG (19th), 325.7 RYPG (5th) and 152.7 PYPG (117th). This team runs the offense through Melvin Gordon who has 1501 rushing yards and 19 rushing TD\u2019s.<\/p>\n Gordon almost has half of the team\u2019s 42 offensive TD\u2019s this season. Nebraska\u2019s offense is similar to the Badgers offense, as they average 40.4 PPG (10th), 280.7 RYPG (10th) and 209.9 PYPG (85th). <\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63738&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Ameer Abdullah has 1250 rushing yards and 17 TD\u2019s for Nebraska. Both RB\u2019s run the offense on these two teams, but neither is much of a threat through the air, which isn\u2019t ideal for a RB these days.<\/p>\n Both of these defenses are great at stopping the run. Wisconsin is only allowing 94.3 RYPG (5th) and the Cornhuskers allow 123.8 RYPG (20th). I expect both defenses to ensure they limit the opposing RB.<\/p>\n Wisconsin has only given up 14.3 PPG (3rd) compared to Nebraska who has allowed 19.7 PPG (16th). I like the Cornhuskers to cover ATS, as I expect them to be able to make more plays in the pass game.<\/p>\n Tommy Armstrong Jr isn\u2019t lighting up the stats page this season, but he has some nice weapons to pass to including Kenny Ball and Jordan Westerkamp. I also expect this game to be fairly low scoring.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n These two offenses have both been getting it done against weak Big Ten competition this year. I doubt we\u2019ll see Abdullah and Gordon running freely through tackles throughout this entire game.<\/p>\n NCAA Football Pick:<\/b> Take the points with the Cornhuskers at +6 (-110).<\/p>\n NCAA Football Point Spread:<\/b> Stanford \u20137 Utah and Stanford are both out of the Pac-12 title race already. The Cardinal have been having a rough year and they\u2019re not even bowl eligible yet, but that\u2019ll change this week with a win at home.<\/p>\n The Utes have had a great year, but they have three conference losses although two of those losses were against Arizona State and Oregon. Playing in Stanford Stadium will be tough coming off two losses.<\/p>\n Last week\u2019s loss to Oregon (51-27) was close until a couple mistakes in the 4th quarter. That\u2019ll be tough to bounce back from, as they had a chance to win and after the game you could tell it hit them hard.<\/p>\n Utah is average at best. On offense they average 32.7 PPG (48th), 189.4 RYPG (48th) and 191.3 PYPG (98th). I expect Stanford to stop this offense all game long and hold them to under 20 points. <\/p>\n Stanford only gives up 16.1 PPG (4th), 110.2 RYPG (11th) and 170.9 PYPG (6th). The problem all season has been that the offense isn\u2019t putting up nearly enough points to beat ranked opponents.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63739&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The Cardinal have four losses, but they\u2019ve all been against ranked teams. Utah comes in ranked, but this is a chance for a Cardinal team that struggled all season to pick up a statement win for their fans.<\/p>\n The Utes can be beat through the air (255.2 PYPG \u2013 97th). Kevin Hogan and the Cardinal offense averages 24.7 PPG (95th), 140.2 RYPG (97th) and 247.6 PYPG (53rd). Hogan needs to have an effective game.<\/p>\n Another reason I like Stanford is because of the revenge factor. The Cardinal lost to Utah last season on the road and now they get a chance to beat them at home when the Utes are on a 2-game losing streak.<\/p>\n\n
