1. Mississippi State Bulldogs (9-0, previous: 1)<\/strong><\/p>\n
Mississippi State has failed to impress for three consecutive weeks now. They\u2019ve been playing down to their opponents after really taking it to three consecutive top-10 opponents. They\u2019ll definitely need to get up for their next game when they visit Alabama in Tuscaloosa.<\/p>\n
2. Florida State Seminoles (9-0, previous: 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n
Florida State didn\u2019t have a ton of trouble getting past Virginia, though they again failed to cover the spread, the seventh time that\u2019s happened this season. The Seminoles draw one of the tougher games on their soft schedule Saturday when they visit Miami.<\/p>\n

3. Oregon Ducks (8-1, previous: 5)<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Ducks picked up their second consecutive big win on Saturday when they went to Utah and routed the Utes. They\u2019ve just got a hop, skip and a jump to the end of the regular season, and a win in the Pac-12 title game figures to all but lock up their spot in the inaugural College Football Playoff.<\/p>\n
4. Alabama Crimson Tide (8-1, previous: 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n
Pretty tough on Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide that they went into Death Valley and won at night but didn\u2019t move up an inch in the rankings. A win over Mississippi State on Saturday will surely change that.<\/p>\n
5. TCU Horned Frogs (8-1, previous: 6)<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Horned Frogs convincingly won the toughest remaining game on their schedule when they routed Kansas State on Saturday. The team\u2019s remaining opponents are a combined 10-18. They visit Kansas on Saturday.<\/p>\n

6. Baylor Bears (8-1, previous: 10)<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Bears picked up a big win on Saturday by routing Oklahoma in Norman. They figure to put the selection committee in a tough spot as they were six spots behind TCU in the last College Football Playoff rankings, but can win the Big 12 if they were to win out.<\/p>\n
7. Arizona State Sun Devils (8-1, previous: 11)<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Sun Devils came away with a decisive win over Notre Dame on Saturday. The lone blemish on their schedule came at UCLA with quarterback Taylor Kelly out of the lineup. They\u2019re a dark horse for the College Football Playoff. A win over Oregon in the Pac-12 title game would likely be enough to get them in.<\/p>\n
8. Ohio State Buckeyes (8-1, previous: 13)<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Buckeyes\u2019 entire season led up to Saturday\u2019s meeting with Michigan State, and even though few outside of Columbus gave the team a shot to win in East Lansing, Urban Meyer\u2019s boys came up with their biggest win in his tenure with the program. Their best shot at qualifying for the Playoff would be if Nebraska won out and the Buckeyes beat them in the Big Ten title game.<\/p>\n

9. Auburn Tigers (7-2, previous: 3)<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Tigers were the big losers of the weekend, suffering their second loss and all but dashing their playoff hopes. They can play spoiler the rest of the way. They visit Georgia on Saturday and can ruin their chances of making the SEC title game, then can deliver a blow to Alabama in the Iron Bowl.<\/p>\n
