Philadelphia<\/h3>\n

The Eagles are bringing one of the league\u2019s best offenses to Texas.<\/p>\n

They lost a tough game last week against Arizona and it won\u2019t be much easier this week against a tough Texans defense.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia has both of their losses this season on the road and they have struggled against top defensive teams losing to the Cardinals and the 49ers.<\/p>\n

On the road they struggle to create the tempo they want and this week will be a real challenge. If they are a real contender they will bounce right back from the loss.<\/p>\n

All season long Philadelphia has failed to get Shady McCoy going on the ground.<\/p>\n

When the running game is going is gashes at defenses and sets up the myriad of screens and short passes they also want to execute.<\/p>\n

If they can get the run game going it will means that the Texans won’t be able to tee off on Nick Foles, who has not been as sharp in his second season as the starter.<\/p>\n

Houston<\/h3>\n

The Texans have probably played better than their 4-4 record indicates. Theirs stars get a lot of attention but overall they are a talented team even though I don’t like their quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.<\/p>\n

The way I see it Houston is the exact kind of team that should give the Eagles a tough time because they can run the ball to slow down the game and they can stop the run.<\/p>\n

If they do fall behind the explosive Eagles they will be in trouble though…they are not built to play catch up.<\/p>\n

Arian Foster is second in the league in rushing and tied for first in touchdowns. It is a nice duel between him and McCoy and whoever rushes for more will probably lead their team to victory.<\/p>\n

Houston has to be able to run the ball because putting the game in the hands of Fitzpatrick is not a good outcome for the Texans who don’t want to have to count on more scoring from J.J. Watt, as good as he is.<\/p>\n
