Both teams have looked tremendous at times this season while not looking so good at others.<\/p>\n A win by either team Sunday will go a long way of determining which team of the two has a shot at an AFC playoff spot.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63753&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The Baltimore Ravens let one slip away last week when they lost 27-24 to a struggling Cincinnati Bengals team that was forced, once again to play without AJ Green.<\/p>\n A previously stout defense had a bad game last Sunday and will be forced to play without their top corner Jimmy Smith this week after sustaining an injury versus the Bengals.<\/p>\n Baltimore\u2019s defense is currently ranked second in the NFL in total defense (22nd against the pass unfortunately) but this team certainly isn\u2019t as good on the road.<\/p>\n The Ravens offense also had an off-game last week and should be prime for a bounce back this week. Joe Flacco threw for under 200 yards and threw two interceptions to go along with ZERO touchdowns, Torrey Smith and Steve Smith were virtually invisible last week and the running game didn\u2019t play at the level we\u2019ve seen this year \u2013 not good.<\/p>\n That\u2019s the bad news. The good news is that the Ravens have the honor of facing a Steelers defense that has not been great this season \u2013 particularly its secondary.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Flacco completed 21 of 29 passes in the teams\u2019 first meeting for just 166 yards with two TDs and ZERO interceptions – he will be better this week when he leads Baltimore against a team that they already beat 26-6 this season.<\/p>\n Ben Roethlisberger had a game for the ages last week against Indianapolis \u2013 522 yards passing and six TDs. I hope he doesn\u2019t need Tommy John surgery!<\/p>\n Those 522 yards was the fourth highest total in history!<\/p>\n He and Antonio Brown have been magical this season and there is no reason to think that the Steelers can\u2019t build on that chemistry especially with Jimmy Smith sidelined for the Ravens.<\/p>\n Expect the league\u2019s eighth best passing offense to be good and for the running game led by LeVeon Bell to be just as productive.<\/p>\n Pittsburgh has a very well rounded offense right now \u2013 either the running game or the passing game could be a difference maker.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a good thing for a strong offensive effort last week \u2013 the Steelers allowed Andrew Luck to throw for over 400 yards and although they limited the rushers, the Steelers defense was seriously exposed.<\/p>\n They are currently 14th in the NFL in total defense \u2013 it\u2019s somewhat of a shock that they are that high!<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n \u2022 BAL are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. AFC. The Baltimore Ravens are a different team on the road than at home and with a HOT Ben Roethlisberger on the slate for a Ravens team minus their best cover corner.<\/p>\n\n
