The Bruins had been considered one of the teams in contention for a spot in the inaugural College Football Playoff, have lost twice already this season and are just 2-2 in the Pac-12.<\/p>\n They do still have something to play for as they compete for the Pac-12 title, but they can\u2019t afford another loss and will need plenty of help the rest of the way.<\/p>\n As for Colorado, they lost their third game in a row by a final score of 56-28 at the hands of USC. The loss was the team\u2019s fourth in a row against Pac-12 opponents. They dropped last year\u2019s meeting with UCLA by a score of 45-23.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n In last week\\s win over Cal, UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley completed 31-of-42 passes for 330 yards and a pair of scores, adding 94 yards and an additional score on the ground. Hundley currently leads the Pac-12 in completion percentage, connecting on 72.5 percent of his passes.<\/p>\n Running back Paul Perkins has been another strong catalyst for the Bruins\u2019 offense. He ranks second in the Pac-12 in rushing yards with 816, and has scored on the ground three times this season. He racked up 86 yards on 15 carries last week against Cal.<\/p>\n Colorado will look to get a boost in this matchup from wide receiver Nelson Spruce. Spruce leads the nation in receptions with 71, and touchdown receptions with 11. He also ranks atop the Pac-12 in receiving yards with 801.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63739&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The Bruins have had troubles building up margins this season, particularly on the road, and while it\u2019s difficult to imagine the Buffaloes pulling off the upset, they are getting a fair number of points from the books.
