Carolina<\/h3>\n

The Panthers went up to Cincinnati and got the rare tie. <\/p>\n

It was better than a loss for sure but also impressive given they were down for most of the game. Carolina played against type a big by putting up 37 points against what is supposed to be a pretty good Bengals defense. <\/p>\n

This week they play Green Bay and the way the Packers score points they might need even more on Sunday. This is another tough road game against a quality team.<\/p>\n

Last week we saw Cam Newton as a real running threat for the first time this season. <\/p>\n

I know the coaches may cringe about the hits he is going to take on the run but sometimes he needs to be more than just a threat…the rest of they offense is not very dynamic. <\/p>\n

On defense they need to be better than they were last week because the Packers are a much better offensive team.<\/p>\n

Green Bay<\/h3>\n

The Packers can be a tough team to read. At times they look like the best team in the NFC North hands down and other they leave you scratching their heads. <\/p>\n

Last week they kind of toyed with the Dolphins, leading for most of the game only to surrender that cushion in the 4th quarter. Then Aaron Rodgers led them down the field for a game winning touchdown with next to no time on the clock. <\/p>\n

They got the road win they were expecting.<\/p>\n

The pressure has been on Rodgers a lot this season as RB Eddie Lacey has not had the kind of season that was anticipated. <\/p>\n

This week against Carolina I wouldn’t expect a breakout as their defense of the run is usually strong. \u00a0<\/p>\n

When they are on defense the Packers are showing signs that they might be able to win a game when the offense is not at peak efficiency.<\/p>\n
