A couple of also rans meet in the ACC. \u00a0Not much to get excited about but it could be a betting opportunity.<\/p>\n

Syracuse<\/h3>\n

The Orange are looking to break up a 4 game losing streak when they head to Winston-Salem this weekend.<\/p>\n

There is no shame in those losses as they have been facing better teams but the fact that they were all at home cannot sit too well. This is not a great Syracuse team but it has a chance to make it to a bowl game it is starts showing some improvement.<\/p>\n

Offensively they have been a disaster scoring just 21ppg, 108th in the nation.<\/p>\n

Syracuse is a pretty good running team thanks to the fact that QB Terrel Hunt is a dual threat. He leads the team in TDs but has not fared well throwing the balls with a TD\/INT ratio of 1:4.<\/p>\n

Hunt is not going to play in this one and right now no backup has revealed themselves as a successor.<\/p>\n

Syracuse is the better team but if they are getting a zero from the QB slot this one might be tough.<\/p>\n

Wake Forest<\/h3>\n

Coming into the season most pegged Wake Forest as the worst team in the ACC and with half a season in the books there is no reason to waver on that opinion.<\/p>\n

Their lone wins are against Gardner-Webb and Army and this week is probably their best chance to add another victory this season.<\/p>\n

Two weeks ago they were hammered by Florida State so hopefully they used their off week to recover physically and emotionally. Times are kind of dark for the Deacons.<\/p>\n

As bad as the Orange are on offense Waker Forest is worse.<\/p>\n

They rank in the 100s in all major categories and haven\u2019t scored more than 24 points in any game this season. They are catching Syracuse at a good time but they will still have to play better than they have been to get the victory.<\/p>\n

Believe it or not they average 31 rushing yards per game. They are kind of pathetic.<\/p>\n
