They rank 6th in points allowed (12.7 PPG), 1st in rushing yards allowed (58.3 RYPG) and 12th in passing yards allowed (171.8 PYPG).<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63738&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n This will be the toughest offense that they\u2019ve played this season and it\u2019ll be interesting to watch whether or not the defense can hold up. Clemson is scoring an average of 40.4 PPG (19th) this season.<\/p>\n The Tigers are unlikely to run the football much (155.0 RYPG \u2013 78th), but Clemson has the 10th best passing attack in the nation (335.8 PYPG) and the key for Clemson is to attack early and often<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Deshaun Watson has played great all season long and he has a number of big time weapons that\u2019ll be able to test this Cardinals secondary. Louisville will look to establish a run game and pound the rock.<\/p>\n Louisville\u2019s offense is below average, as they average 231.8 PYPG (67th), 156.5 RYPG (76th) and 33.3 PPG (53rd). They need to keep the Clemson offense off the field and to do that they need to run.<\/p>\n Clemson is only allowing 110.6 RYPG (24th), but the secondary is even stronger (180.2 PYPG \u2013 17th). This is a tough game for the Cardinals, as this is one of the toughest stadiums to play in.<\/p>\n The Tigers already lost one ACC game to FSU earlier in the year and they can\u2019t afford to lose another big conference game, especially at home. This is a big spread, but I\u2019ll be on Clemson to cover.<\/p>\n This team could have folded after suffering two losses, but they\u2019ve come back strong with wins over UNC (50-35) and NC State (41-0). Clemson is a tough home team and both of their losses to ranked opponents this season came on road, so you can\u2019t put much weight in those.<\/p>\n Clemson Tigers \u20139.5 (-110)<\/b><\/p>\n Louisville had trouble dealing with Virginia and Clemson is a much better team than that.
