They were just shutout by Clemson and it\u2019ll be hard to bounce back from that performance against the Eagles.<\/p>\n Boston College has a solid defense that allows 111.2 RYPG (25th), 193.2 PYPG (24th) and 20.4 PPG (28th). I expect the Wolfpack offense to struggle, as they\u2019re out of sync and playing a well rested defense.<\/p>\n NC State needs Jacoby Brissett to have a big game for them to win at home. Brissett has 13 TD passes and just 1 INT on the season. Boston College has the 6th best rushing offense in the nation (316.8 RYPG), but they\u2019re one of the worst passing teams.<\/p>\n The Eagles rarely pass and only average 133.2 PYPG (121st), which is a problem because defenses are able to stack the box to stop the run. If a defense shuts down the BC run game their offense struggles.<\/p>\n I expect BC to have success on the ground, as the Wolfpack allow 171.0 RYPG (77th). Tyler Murphy won\u2019t beat NC State through the air, but he\u2019s the leading rusher on the Eagles and a huge threat with his feet.<\/p>\n Boston College has 16 rushing TD\u2019s and they\u2019ll be able to wear down an already tired defensive front that has played two tough games in the last two weeks.
