Week 5: Cleveland vs Tennessee Predictions<\/h2>\n

Cleveland<\/h3>\n

The Browns may be 1-2 but they are not playing terribly. Both of their losses have been by 3 points or less, in fact all of their games have been close ones.<\/p>\n

I am not sure that means they are about to turn the corner but it also means you should probably give them just a little more of a look before going to the next game on the card.<\/p>\n

So far the Manziel watch has been unfruitful but after the bye week I expect we will see more of Johnny Football from here on out.<\/p>\n

When you look at Cleveland closely you see a team that is opposite of what they were last year.<\/p>\n

In 2013 they were competitive because of a strong defense but this year they are 30th in yards and that is even with a solid running game chewing up clock. Not having Josh Gordon and not being able to get Jordan Cameron going are not helping but if the Browns want to start winning more game they need to D up.<\/p>\n

Tennessee<\/h3>\n

When the Titans opened the season with an upset win at Kansas City it opened up the eyes of many around the league.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for Titans fans, since then Tennessee has been awful losing by 16, 26 and 24 points. QB Jake Locker is banged up but that isn\u2019t the problem.<\/p>\n

The problem is that he is not an NFL starting quarterback. The sooner they give rookie Zach Mettenberger a real shot at the job the sooner the better off they will be.<\/p>\n

This could be a pretty boring game because the best thing the Titans have going for them too is a solid running attack featuring Shonn Greene and Bishop Sankey. Their defense has been a little better than Cleveland\u2019s but you can expect a lot of three and outs from both camps.<\/p>\n

Whichever team figures out something that is working first will win the ball game.<\/p>\n
