NFL Gambling \u2013 Week 5 Favorites<\/h3>\n
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Packers -9<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Thursday night slate has yielded nothing but one-sided affairs thus far on the season, so oddsmakers are upping the ante by boosting the line for this one. It\u2019s a matchup that the Packers have dominated in recent years, and while the Vikings have done a terrific job of weathering Adrian Peterson\u2019s absence, the Packers offense appeared to figure some things out in the Windy City.<\/p>\n
St. Louis Rams at Philadelphia Eagles<\/strong>
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Eagles -7<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Rams could have folded up shop when starting quarterback Sam Bradford went down with an injury, but they\u2019ve done a really good job of remaining competitive. Now they get an Eagles team at the wrong time, though, as Philadelphia needs to establish its ground game and that could lead to them looking to run up the score on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Baltimore Ravens at Indianapolis Colts<\/strong>
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Indianapolis Colts -3.5<\/strong><\/p>\nIt\u2019s been a tale of two teams for the Ravens ever since John Harbaugh took over. They\u2019ve been great at home and inconsistent on the road, and now they get a Colts team that\u2019s firing on all cylinders, which is hardly a recipe for success.<\/p>\n
Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars<\/strong>
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Steelers -6.5<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Steelers have seemingly shown up to play every other week this season, and that\u2019s bad news for a Jaguars team that hasn\u2019t bothered showing up at any point this season. Antonio Brown has been uncoverable, and Le\u2019Veon Bell is quickly establishing himself as one of the better rushing talents in football.<\/p>\n
Chicago Bears at Carolina Panthers<\/strong>
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Panthers -2.5<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Bears really put all of their flaws on full display in the second half of their game against the Packers a week ago, while the Panthers really laid an egg in Baltimore. Someone has to bounce back, and it figures to be the home side, as the Panthers defense won\u2019t have to face Steve Smith this Sunday, and their running game can exploit the Bears\u2019 biggest weakness.<\/p>\n
NFL Gambling \u2013 Week 5 Underdogs<\/h3>\n
Atlanta Falcons at New York Giants<\/strong>
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Falcons +4.5<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Giants figured things out in a big way last week, but this is a team that struggled mightily through the first three weeks of the season. <\/p>\n

The Falcons laid an egg in Minnesota, but they\u2019re better than that, and have the horses to exploit a leaky New York defense where it\u2019s most vulnerable: through the air.<\/p>\n
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints<\/strong>
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Buccaneers +11<\/strong><\/p>\nSomething\u2019s been wrong with the Saints this season. The offense hasn\u2019t really clicked and the defense has been a disaster. They have the luxury of getting this game at home, but these divisional games have a tendency of staying close, and the Buccaneers should only get better after a slow start.<\/p>\n
Houston Texans at Dallas Cowboys<\/strong>
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Texans +4<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Cowboys have been able to establish their running game as a way of hiding their poor defense, but the Texans have the patience to exploit that unit right back on the ground with Arian Foster. This one could be a barn burner.<\/p>\n

Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Bills +7.5<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Bills will trot out Kyle Orton at quarterback. The team has played above itself, but they\u2019ve been right in the thick of all there games even with shoddy quarterback play. Even the slightest level of competence out of Orton should make things interesting on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Arizona Cardinals at Denver Broncos<\/strong>
\nWeek 5 NFL Spread: Cardinals +7.5<\/strong><\/p>\nIt\u2019s not often that we\u2019ll see an undefeated team giving away better than a touchdown, but that\u2019s the case Sunday when the Cardinals visit the Broncos. Denver is coming off of a bye, but so is Arizona. The Broncos have shown that even with all their new weapons on defense, they\u2019re still vulnerable to those late scores that keep opponents in games, making the opportunity for a backdoor cover very real.<\/p>\n
