In are Jason Spezza, Ales Hemsky and backup goaltender Andres Lindback and out are Alex Chaisson, Ray Whitney and Tim Thomas.<\/p>\n On paper a forward unit consisting of Spezza, Hemsky, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn are formidable to say the least. An OK power play suddenly looks outstanding! To compete in the West it is widely known that a team absolutely needs two scoring lines \u2013 the Stars now have that. <\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=16&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Valeri Nichushkin provides the youth in the top 6 while the other top 6 forwards are young but surprisingly experienced at their age.<\/p>\n Dallas\u2019s third line looks like it will be occupied by 2013-2014 breakout star Ryan Garbuttt who scored 17 goals last season, Antoine Roussel and Cody Eakin.<\/p>\n Perhaps one thing that will hold Dallas back this season is defense. My guess is \u2013 NO. There are still a couple of holes on the Dallas squad \u2013 particularly on the back end and between the pipes. <\/p>\n It\u2019s true that Dallas has a nice team with some legitimate pieces in place.
