KC may have caught the Pats at the right time \u2013 despite a 2-1 record New England hasn\u2019t looked great and almost let one get away last week against the lowly Raiders.<\/p>\n After three weeks of the season there are more questions than answers coming out of the New England Patriots camp \u2013 a loss opening week to an unflattering Miami team was followed by a win against a dysfunctional and obviously distracted Vikings team and a 16-9 win as 13 1\/2 point favorite against the worst team in the NFL \u2013 Oakland.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63753&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Tom Brady doesn\u2019t look himself and the New England Patriots \u2013 the offensive line is struggling, Rob Gronkowski is still working himself back into full health, and the pass catchers haven`t really scared anyone thus far.<\/p>\n Brady himself is averaging just 210 yards passing per game and he has thrown just three TDs total this year \u2013 unbelievable really!<\/p>\n A sketchy running game has also hindered the Pats so far \u2013 the fact that they struggled against a brutal Oakland run defense is a big eye-opener. New England gets a crack at a KC run defense that has been almost as bad as Oakland`s \u2013 if they don`t get it done this week, I fear that the run game is a lost cause.<\/p>\n Defensively the Patriots have been just fine holding their last two opponents to single digit point totals. But without a good offensive effort, the Pats look like an average team.<\/p>\n The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins last week for their first win of the season \u2013 the same Miami team that beat New England in Week 1.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The win came after a good performance in a loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 2. With No Jamaal Charles, the Chiefs proved once again that they are one of the best running clubs in the game \u2013 Knile Davis has 132 yards in the win while Alex Smith had 186 yards passing and three TDs.<\/p>\n The Chiefs passing game may have their hands full with an improved Pats secondary \u2013 expect the Chiefs to run the ball early and often and further expose New England`s poor run defense.<\/p>\n KC`s defense has underachieved a tad this year \u2013 injuries to Derrick Johnson and tackle Mike DeVito have really had an effect.<\/p>\n This unit posted four sacks and they limited Miami to 205 yards passing last week \u2013 by far the best performance by the defense all season long. <\/p>\n The Chiefs` pass rush is no joke \u2013 they should be able to terrorize Tom Brady all night long.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n \u2022 NE are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games. Arrowhead is a tough place to play \u2013 on Monday night you have to believe that the pressure will be even greater. New England`s offensive line issues will likely be their undoing Monday as KC`s pass rush dominates Tom Brady and forces him into some uncharacteristic mistakes.<\/p>\n On the other side of the ball, expect the Chiefs to run the ball down New England`s throats en route to an upset home victory.<\/p>\n\n
