The Week 3 AP Top 25 college football poll<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0was released on Sunday. Despite most teams having only two games in the bank there was quite a bit of movement in the rankings this week. <\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63740&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Oregon leapfrogged Alabama to get into the No. 2 spot in the rankings thanks to a big resume-building win over Michigan State. USC also picked up a significant win as they took down Stanford on the road, and that has them in the top 10.<\/p>\n With Big Ten programs Michigan State and Ohio State losing and sliding down the rankings, Texas A&M and Baylor each climbed up two spots, while LSU was able to join them in the top 10.<\/p>\n As always stay tuned to Cappers Picks blog all NCAA Football betting season long. Florida State Seminoles (2-0, previous: 1)<\/strong><\/p>\n A cupcake on the schedule for the Seminoles as they made short work of The Citadel, though a rough fourth quarter made the score look closer than it needed to be. Florida State is off this week, though they return to a tough game as they will host Clemson. <\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63738&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The team is currently riding a school-record 18-game winning streak.<\/p>\n 2. Oregon Ducks (2-0, previous: 3)<\/strong><\/p>\n Oregon\u2019s victory over Michigan State was great for the program, and for the Pac-12. The team was hit in the mouth by the Spartans and broke character by fighting right back. They\u2019ll have a much easier go of it this weekend when they host Wyoming.<\/p>\n 3. Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0, previous: 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n Alabama held up their end of the bargain a week ago, coming away with a 41-point victory over Florida Atlantic, but still dropped a spot in the rankings because of Oregon\u2019s big victory \u2013 the perils of a soft schedule. <\/p>\n They face the same problem this weekend when they take on Southern Miss.<\/p>\n 4. Oklahoma Sooners (2-0, previous: 4)<\/strong><\/p>\n Many expected a closer outcome when Oklahoma took to the road for a date with instate rival Tulsa, but the Sooners instead thwarted the Golden Hurricane by 45 points. They\u2019ll have a tougher time running away with Saturday\u2019s game when they host Tennessee.<\/p>\n 5. Auburn Tigers (2-0, previous: 5)<\/strong><\/p>\n The Auburn offense is firing on all cylinders right now, and there is no end in sight. The team blew up San Jose State\u2019s defense a week after doing the same to Arkansas. <\/p>\n They\u2019ll have a week off before a midweek matchup \u2013 and their first real test \u2013 getting 19th<\/sup>-ranked Kansas State in Manhattan.<\/p>\n 6. Georgia Bulldogs (1-0, previous: 6)<\/strong><\/p>\n Georgia took a week off to celebrate their big win over Clemson, but now they get thrown right back into the fire. The Bulldogs will make the trip out to South Carolina for a date with a Gamecocks team desperate for a big win.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n 7. Texas A&M Aggies (2-0, previous: 9)<\/strong><\/p>\n The Texas A&M offense was right back at it on Saturday as the team lit up Lamar, scoring double-digit points in each quarter en route to a 73-3 beat down. They draw a tougher opponent Saturday when they take on Rice, though they won\u2019t have any trouble getting to 3-0 at College Station.<\/p>\n 8. Baylor Bears (2-0, previous: 10)<\/strong><\/p>\n The Baylor offense proved that it can still move the football without Bryce Petty a week ago, but they\u2019re going to need him to stay healthy if they hope to achieve their lofty goals, even if that just means repeating as Big 12 champions.<\/p>\n The team gets a prime time stage to do their work on Friday night in Buffalo.<\/p>\n 9. USC Trojans (2-0, previous: 14)<\/strong><\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63739&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The Trojans may not have handled the officials all that well on Saturday, but they sure did take care of business against the Cardinal. That win over Stanford can really turn things around for USC if they can ride this wave of momentum. <\/p>\n They get Boston College on the road this weekend.<\/p>\n 10.
