Look for Coker to get plenty of action in the season’s second week.<\/p>\n Whether it’s Sims or Coker, Florida Atlantic should still get crushed. Star RB T.J. Yeldon had 126 rush yards and two scores against West Virginia, and there’s plenty more where that came from.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=1’]<\/p>\n Even when Yeldon isn’t on the field, the Tide have freshman Derrick Henry to terrorize opposing defenses.<\/p>\n Henry also cracked 100 yards, got into the end zone and averaged a higher yards-per clip than Yeldon did. Yikes!<\/p>\n Another substantial weapon for the home team is WR Amari Cooper. The junior had 12 receptions in the first game and he’ll be a crucial target for either starting QB to utilize.<\/p>\n The schedule-maker was not kind to Florida Atlantic in its first two games of the season. The Owls are coming off a Week 1 drubbing at the hands of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, they now must travel to ‘Bama to tangle with another of the nation’s elite.<\/p>\n The struggling Conference-USA outfit might get outscored by a combined 100 points over the two games.<\/p>\n Sophomore RB Jay Warren is capable for the Owls, but FAU’s defense simply won’t be able to keep pace with Alabama’s high-octane attack. One of the underclassman pivots will shred the visitor’s secondary, while the two-headed monster of Yeldon and Henry should get into the second level at will.<\/p>\n On ‘Bama’s defense, players like S Landon Collins and LB Trey DePriest should make mincemeat of the opposition. Alabama is routinely a good enough football team that the fanbase was rather underwhelmed by last week’s victory, which means everyone is looking for a statement effort in Dixieland.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63739&limit=1&return_javascript=1’]<\/p>\n All this equates to FAU hopefully saying its prayers on Saturday. It shouldn’t be a close contest and the Owls can only hope to take some small moral victories away from this game.<\/p>\n They’ll surely take the sizeable revenue that comes from games against national heavies like Nebraska and Alabama.<\/p>\n\n
