Kenny Hill surpassed Johnny Manziel\u2019s single game passing record in the game.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63738&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Hill isn\u2019t much of a threat to run the football, but he completed 44\/60 passes for 511 yards and 3 TD\u2019s. His performance was even more impressive because it was on the road against a very good SEC defense.<\/p>\n The Aggies also gained 169 rushing yards on 39 carries (4.3 YPC) and scored 4 rushing TD\u2019s. I thought the defense played well also. The run stopping unit held the Gamecocks to 67 rushing yards (3.0 YPC).<\/p>\n Lamar won last week against Grambling State (42-27), but it wasn\u2019t a convincing win. Sure they won by double digits, but Caleb Berry threw 2 INT\u2019s and the run game was held to 3.3 YPC (41 Carries).<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n The defense played poorly also, as they allowed 27 points and 293 yards against a poor Tigers team. This isn\u2019t going to be much of a game and I doubt anyone other than Aggies fans will enjoy watching it.<\/p>\n Malcome Kennedy was unable to get into the endzone last week for the Aggies, but he was clearly the #1 target for Hill. He had 14 receptions for 137 yards and he could break 200+ yards against Lamar.<\/p>\n No one in the Tigers secondary will be able to stop the skill players on the Aggies. Texas A&M is also deep at skill positions. Twelve players hauled in a pass last week and five of them had 5+ receptions.<\/p>\n Trey Williams, Brandon Williams and Tra Carson will also see a lot of work in the run game. This game will be over before the 1Q ends, so the Aggies will likely run more often rather than let Hill air it out.<\/p>\n Last week Carson only had 7 carries (30 Yards), but he rushed for 3 TD\u2019s in limited work. Brandon and Trey both had 10+ carries and will exceed that again against a weak Lamar d-line.<\/p>\n [dfads params=’groups=63739&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Over is 4-0 in Aggies last 4 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. Score: Lamar 10 vs. Texas A&M 70<\/b><\/p>\n There is no point spread or total out for this match-up yet, but it could still be released this week. Since there is no line I\u2019ve made my prediction for the final score. If lines come out this will be updated.<\/p>\n Texas A&M can name the score in this match-up. You never know when Sumlin will start shutting it down for the day, but I expect him to allow his offense to continue building chemistry most of the game.<\/p>\n The way Hill and the Aggies offense looked against the Gamecocks I could see them scoring more than 70 points if they wanted.
