Not even close. <\/p>\n When: Saturday, Aug. 30 2014 10:30 p.m. ET<\/strong> Click here to view…\u00a0ATS Betting Stats<\/a>\u00a0&\u00a0NCAA Football Gambling Insight!<\/a><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The South Dakota Coyotes will cut a nice check from agreeing to travel to Autzen Stadium to take on the perennially contending Oregon Ducks, but in all likelihood, they won\u2019t get much satisfaction anywhere else.<\/p>\n This game has the potential to be a blowout, and that\u2019s likely what we\u2019ll see when the clock strikes zero.<\/p>\n Last season, the Coyotes went 4-8 on the year (3-5 in conference), and they did it without ever facing a single top-25 opponent.<\/p>\n That\u2019s not a good sign when it comes to experience against a team that went 11-2 in 2013, and it\u2019s not going to bode well on the field come Aug. 30.<\/p>\n To make matters worse, South Dakota has absolutely no momentum entering this contest. It lost its final five contests of the season, including a season-ending loss against North Dakota State that resulted in a 42-0 trouncing. Not only are the Ducks the No. 3 team entering the new season, but they have a Heisman finalist behind center in Marcus Mariota.<\/p>\n If his knee hadn\u2019t given out last season, he might be looking to defend his title as both Heisman Trophy winner and national champion, but as it turned out, he\u2019s back and ready to seek a first-time accomplishment in both of those categories.<\/p>\n In this contest, look for the Ducks to get ahead early and put in their reserves for most of the second half. Oregon has been known to put three or four touchdowns on the board in the first quarter alone against FCS competition, and chances are, that\u2019s what we\u2019ll see come Aug. 25.<\/p>\n Look for Mariota, Thomas Tyner and Byron Marshall to be the stars of the first half.<\/p>\n Then we\u2019ll likely see rookie tailback Royce Freeman\u2014a player who has earned a ton of hype during spring camp\u2014take the reins in the third and fourth quarters.<\/p>\n This one will belong to the Ducks early, and that won\u2019t change going into the second half.<\/p>\n Oregon has put up totals in the high 60s and low 70s against FCS competition the past handful of years, and it\u2019s not unlikely we see the same kind of production in Week 1 against the Coyotes.<\/p>\n Expect a massive blowout in Eugene, Ore.<\/p>\n\n
