Fellow wideout Randall Cobb appeared to be in line for some big things last season before going down with an injury.<\/p>\n<p>The team is clearly ready to deploy him out of all kinds of different looks \u2013 he\u2019ll have the ball in his hands a fair bit this season.<br \/>\n[soliloquy id=&#8221;82219&#8243;]<br \/>\nJarrett Boykin\u2019s is another name to know. The undrafted wide receiver has been buried on the team\u2019s depth chart for a number of year, but with the talent in front of him moving on, he\u2019s in the No. 3 hole and should make the most of his opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The presence of running back Eddie Lacy is what makes the Packers\u2019 offense so special. Lacy is a legitimate threat out of the backfield, both as a runner and as a pass-catcher.<\/p>\n<p> He enjoyed a fine rookie season, and with Rodgers back in the fold, Lacy should only find more lanes to exploit.<\/p>\n<p>The Packers needed some help on defense, so general manager Ted Thompson went out and signed defensive end Julius Peppers away from the rival Chicago Bears. He also loosened the purse strings to bring back veterans Sam Shields and B.J. Raji.<\/p>\n<p>That wasn\u2019t all, as Thompson used the team\u2019s first-round draft pick on Alabama safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, who is expected to start from day one, providing the team a much-needed boost in the secondary.<\/p>\n<h3>Packers NFL Betting Prediction<\/h3>\n<p>The Packers are going to have another tough time eking past the Bears this season in a head-to-head divisional battle that figures to go right down to the wire. It\u2019s all going to come down to how the Packer defense fares, because the offense will be just fine.<\/p>\n<p>Defensive coordinator Dom Capers should figure things out.
