In the nine games Locker was out the team went 3-6. Tennessee went out in the offseason to make sure Locker is protected \u2013 Michael Oher was added and they Bucs picked Taylor Lewan in the draft.<\/p>\n<p>That said Locker will have an average group of receivers to throw to \u2013 not many of them are destined to make him look good. Nate Washington and Kendall Wright don\u2019t exactly strike fear in opposing defenses!<br \/>\n[soliloquy id=&#8221;82219&#8243;]<br \/>\nBut slightly above average is good enough if the defense does its job \u2013 just ask the Seattle Seahawks!<\/p>\n<p>The Tennessee Titans running game is the biggest mystery coming into the season \u2013 the face of the offense, Chris Johnson is gone leaving a huge void.<\/p>\n<p>The lead running back role will apparently filled by Shonne Greene \u2013 unflattering to say the least, but look out for second round pick Bishop Sankey \u2013 he looks like the real deal and should get a fair amount of chances in Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee enter the season with a pretty good idea of what they want to do on defense \u2013 this unit was solid last year and although they will switch to a 3-4 defense they have the athletic guys that can get it done.<\/p>\n<p>The defense will be the key \u2013 with the young and athletic players on this squad, I Like this unit to be top third in the NFL this upcoming season.<\/p>\n<h3>Titans Betting Prediction: OVER 7<\/h3>\n<p>Simply put \u2013 Tennessee should be a well rounded team heading into 2014. Jake Locker himself is worth a couple of more wins on the season \u2013 that takes the Titans to 9-7 or better. Tennessee is a sneaky contender that should absolutely challenge for a playoff spot.<\/p>\n<p>A .500 season would be a major disappointment for the Titans this year.
