Week 4: Sun, Sept. 28 vs. Dolphins<\/strong> \u2013 The Raiders will need to lick their wounds from their game against the Patriots in a hurry with a date against a tricky Dolphins team coming to town. They could surely use that bye, having to travel from the East Coast in Week 1, to the West Coast in Week 2, back to the East Coast, and finally out to London for this contest.<\/p>\n

Week 7: Sun, Oct. 19 vs. Cardinals<\/strong> \u2013 A second consecutive home date for the Raiders coming out of their bye. They\u2019ll face former quarterback Carson Palmer, whose career has been rejuvenated in Arizona.<\/p>\n
Week 8: Sun, Oct. 26 at Browns<\/strong> \u2013 Going to Cleveland is never fun. At least the Raiders get to go a little earlier in the season before the worst of the weather hits.

At least they get this one at home.<\/p>\n
Week 11: Sun, Nov. 16 at Chargers<\/strong> \u2013 Another key divisional contest in a string of three consecutive games within the AFC West. The Raiders need to knock off teams like the Chargers if they truly believe they can make the playoffs.<\/p>\n
Week 12: Thurs, Nov. 20 vs. Chiefs<\/strong> \u2013 This Thursday night affair is the lone prime time game on the Raiders\u2019 schedule. It could carry with it some wild card implications, making it an especially important contest.<\/p>\n
Week 13: Sun, Nov. 30 at Rams<\/strong> \u2013 The Rams are a sneaky tough opponent, particularly on their home field. Even still, Matt Schaub should do a better job of slinging the ball around the dome than Sam Bradford. Controlling the Rams\u2019 ground game will be a whole different story.<\/p>\n
Week 14: Sun, Dec. 7 vs. 49ers<\/strong> \u2013 Fan violence forced the suspension of the preseason series between these teams. Here\u2019s hoping things calm down in advance of this regular season meeting. With all the travel on their schedule, the Raiders probably would have preferred to see this game listed as a road contest given the short trip.<\/p>\n
Week 15: Sun, Dec. 14 at Chiefs<\/strong> \u2013 Dates at Seattle and at Kansas City are part of why the Raiders have the league\u2019s toughest schedule.<\/p>\n
Week 16: Sun, Dec. 21 vs. Bills<\/strong> \u2013 Getting the Bills in Oakland in December is certainly more favorable than having to go to Buffalo in December. Chalk this one up as a winnable game, and maybe the last one of the season with a road game against the Broncos on deck for their season finale.<\/p>\n
