Griffin III looked like he had some trouble moving around at times last season, understandable given the knee issues he’s dealt with. Now he’ll be thrown right into the lion’s den. Jadeveon Clowney will be looking to make an instant impact in his first home game with the Texans, and he’ll combine to form a scary tandem with J.J. Watt lining up on the opposite side.

Week 2: Sun, Sept. 14 vs. Jaguars – An improved Jaguars team visits Washington for the Redskins’ home opener. The game could be overrun with protestors looking to get the team to change its name.

CLICK to GRAB OUR BEST Expert Sports & Football Picks for 2014 GAMBLING!

Week 3: Sun, Sept. 21 at Eagles – This game is going to be all about DeSean Jackson, who will be making his first return to Philadelphia after his messy break up with the team this past offseason. The game holds some added significance for the Redskins as well, as they claimed the division two years ago, while the Eagles took it last season.

Week 4: Thurs, Sept. 25 vs. Giants – A short week and another divisional foe for the Redskins, though they do get the game at home. The Giants will surely have their early divisional games circled after the disappointing way in which they gave the division away a year ago.

Week 5: Mon, Oct. 6 vs. Seahawks – The Redskins remain in prime time with a Monday night affair, this time hosting the Super Bowl champion Seahawks. This game has some added significance for the Redskins who have been eliminated by the Seahawks in each of their last three trips to the postseason (2005, 2007, 2012).

Week 6: Sun, Oct. 12 at Cardinals – This is one of those sneaky games that doesn’t really stand out at first look, but the Cardinals were better than most noticed last season, and the Redskins draw them on the road the week after playing the defending Super Bowl champs.

Week 7: Sun, Oct. 19 vs. Titans – The only home game in a five week stretch is a winnable one for the Redskins against a Titans team that doesn’t appear to be all that talented.

Week 8: Mon, Oct. 27 at Cowboys – Interestingly enough, this is the Redskins’ final scheduled prime time game. They could be flexed into a Sunday nighter, but this could otherwise be the final national stage for the Redskins this season.
[soliloquy id=”82219″]
Week 9: Sun, Nov. 2 at Vikings – A second consecutive road game with the bye just ahead makes this the look ahead factor strong in this contest, and the Redskins will need all hands on deck to slow Adrian Peterson.

Week 10: BYE

Week 11: Sun, Nov. 16 vs. Buccaneers – The Buccaneers are going to be better than many people think. Not because Doug Martin is coming back, but because Lovie Smith has taken over the show and should get more out of a strong defense than the previous regime was.

Week 12: Sun, Nov. 23 at 49ers – This game will pit a pair of the top mobile quarterbacks in football with Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III. Having to make the trip out to San Francisco doesn’t bode well for Griffin’s chances of coming out on top.

Week 13: Sun, Nov. 30 at Colts – Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III, the top two picks in the 2012 draft, will square off for the first time since they were drafted with consecutive picks.

Week 14: Sun, Dec. 7 vs. Rams – Robert Griffin III will surely look to make an impact against a Rams team that traded away their second overall pick to the Redskins three years ago.

Week 15: Sun, Dec. 14 at Giants – After failing to win a game inside the division a year ago, the Redskins need to key their focus on this final stretch of three consecutive divisional games.

Week 16: Sat, Dec. 20 vs. Eagles – Getting their final two games of the season is a good bonus for the Redskins. These games could decide their playoff fate.

Week 17: Sun, Dec. 28 vs. Cowboys – Playing the Cowboys in the final week of the regular season has meant playing for the NFC East crown in recent years. Luckily for the Redskins, they get this game at home, and already turned the trick against the ‘Boys two years ago.

The 2014/15 NFL futures betting season is here in full force!
