The veteran hurler has been pitching lights out over his last six starts, allowing just eight runs in nearly 40 innings. The 31-year-old has an ERA of 3.14, and has only faced the Astros twice during his career, posting a 1-1 record and a 5.40 ERA, which included a loss earlier this year when he gave up five runs in 5 2\/3 innings.

\nWeaver lost his last outing, 3-0 to Tampa Bay last Friday, when he allowed two runs over seven frames.
\nThe Astros will counter with Collin McHugh who is making his first career appearance against the Angels.<\/p>\nHouston claimed the 26-year-old on waivers from Colorado last December, and he has turned out to be a solid acquisition, allowing just two home runs in 31 innings.<\/p>\n
The right-hander pitched five strong frames last Friday against the White Sox, but was eventually pelted for four runs in the sixth, registering his second straight loss of the year.<\/p>\n
He will need to be sharp on Wednesday, as LA will likely return right fielder Kole Calhoun and slugging center fielder Mike Trout, back to an already top-notch lineup.<\/p>\n
LA’ offense already got a boost when it returned third baseman David Freese on Tuesday. He drove in four runs against the Astros, whose defense still remains a concern.<\/p>\n
