It\u2019s All Even Again – Kings and Ducks in Best of 3 To See Who Moves On<\/strong><\/p>\n Game 5 between the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks goes down on Monday night. Surprisingly the road team has won every game in the series thus far – home ice has been a bit of a curse.<\/p>\n Los Angeles (52-32-3-6) at Anaheim (60-23-3-6)<\/strong> ATS Matchup Insight<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0CappersPicks Insider Preview<\/a><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The script has totally flipped the last two games – it is now the Los Angeles Kings who are struggling to score after the Ducks had more than their share of issues in the first two games of the series. Clearly it is the team that finds their offense early that will take control of this So-Cal showdown.<\/p>\n The Los Angeles Kings have had their opportunities in this series to put a dagger into the Anaheim Ducks – LA has faced three different goaltenders – you think they could have taken advantage. The Kings absolutely dominated Saturday night`s game, holding the Ducks to ZERO shots on goal in the second period but they just couldn`t solve Anaheim`s rookie goaltender.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a case of LA`s offense slipping into an all-too-familiar funk.<\/p>\n Jonathan Quick was pulled after 1 period of Saturday night`s game after giving up two goals – insane! But the move definitely sparked a Kings team that allowed un incomprehensible three shots in the final two periods of the game. Quick will be back in there Monday with a ton to prove.<\/p>\n His numbers aren\u2019t great – 0-2-0 in his last two starts with a 4.85 GAA and .848 save percentage – yuk!<\/p>\n The Kings went 0-for-4 on the power play Saturday – something that is going to have to change if they hope to come out on top Monday. Gibson made 28 saves Saturday for his second career shutout – it looks like the Ducks are in good hands.<\/p>\n The Ducks offense in Game 3 – wasn`t great to say the least. They failed to generate one shot in period 2 and had one faceoff in their opponents end in that 20 minutes. The team had 14 shots on goal in the game – a total of three shots in the final 40 minutes.<\/p>\n The Ducks were awfully lucky in Game 5 – if they play like that again – chances they`ll lose!<\/p>\n But as long as you have Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry on your team you have a chance to win. Perry assisted on both goals Saturday and Getzlaf had a goal and an assist in the winning effort.<\/p>\n A few trends to consider:<\/strong> Despite the two game winning streak it is hard to see any momentum for the Anaheim Ducks heading into Game 5.
