\n Season Win Total: 11 wins<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\nThe Niners have what looks to be a favorable slate of games \u2013 the first half of the season is chalk full of very winnable games \u2013 it isn\u2019t \u2018til Thanksgiving that they face their nemesis, the Seahawks. Their last six games all take place on the West Coast but that stretch features two games against the Hawks.<\/p>\n
Every game counts \u2013 a loss or two could be the difference between a home playoff game or eventually heading to Seattle in order to advance in the playoffs.<\/p>\n
Here is a breakdown of the entire 49ers schedule and what should play out in all.<\/p>\n
Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 7, at Dallas, 4:25 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Cowboys are perennial underachievers and this year figures to be no different – the Boys may have gotten worse this offseason. San Francisco\u2019s defense WILL force Tony Romo into a few mistakes and Colin Kaepernick and his crew should be able to move the ball at will against a suspect defense. The 49ers are a top tier team \u2013 the Cowboys are a lower tier 2 or top tier 3 team in the NFL.<\/p>\n
Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 14, Chicago, 8:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
At home against the Bears the 49ers are in a good position to win this game as well. Chicago\u2019s defense was surprisingly their weak spot last year and figures to be this year as well. Jay Cutler, like Tony Romo is prone to mistakes and is good for a turnover or two against the 49ers\u2019 stout defense.<\/p>\n

Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 21, at Arizona, 4:05 p.m.<\/p>\n
Hmmm \u2013 this is an interesting game. The Cardinals were 10-6 last year \u2013 nearly in the playoffs \u2013 better than most think. San Francisco nearly fell to the Cards last year in Arizona and my guess is that a motivated and revamped Arizona team rises to the occasion in Week 3.<\/p>\n
Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 28, Philadelphia, 4:25 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Eagles were tremendous last year under Chip Kelly. Defense, particularly the run stoppers for the Eagles figures to be an issue this upcoming season \u2013 not a good sign when facing Frank Gore and Colin Kaepernick.<\/p>\n
Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 5, Kansas City, 4:25 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Chiefs have proven that they will be no pushover \u2013 Alex Smith has given the team credibility along with Coach Andy Reid. But KC proved last year that they are a tier or two below the elite teams in the NFL \u2013 the 49ers are one of those elite squads.<\/p>\n
Week 6: Monday, Oct. 13, at St. Louis, 8:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
The NFC West is as tough as it is going to get this season \u2013 a split against the Cards, the Hawks and the Rams is likely for this team. That said I like the Rams to beat the Niners at home.<\/p>\n
Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 19, at Denver, 8:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Last game before the bye promises to be epic. DeMarcus Ware and Aqib Talib should be the difference in this game \u2013 the Broncos will score \u2013 I\u2019m not sure the 49ers will be able to keep up.

Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 2, St. Louis, 4:05 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
At home against the Rams, with an extra week to prepare, the 49ers should win this game.<\/p>\n
Week 10: Sunday, Nov. 9, at New Orleans, 1 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
The New Orleans Superdome is the most difficult building in the NFL to visit \u2013 behind only the Seahawks home ground. Colin Kaepernick certainly has his issues with crowd noise \u2013 Week 10 should be no different.<\/p>\n
Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 16, at NY Giants, 1 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Giants are a different team than they were last year but they will still be turnover-prone and they won\u2019t have the defense to slow the Niners enough. SF will score \u2013 I\u2019m not sure the G-Men will.<\/p>\n
Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 23, Washington, 4:25 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
The addition of DeSean Jackson and the health of Robert Griffin could make this an interesting affair. But the Niners are elite and the Skins are a Tier 3 team. On home turf, this should be another 49ers win.<\/p>\n
Week 13: Thursday, Nov. 27, Seattle, 8:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Although Seattle owns the 49ers in Seattle, San Francisco plays the defending champions very well on home turf. This looks an awful lot like another NFC West series split for the 49ers \u2013 a win here is a good bet.<\/p>\n
Week 14: Sunday, Dec. 7, at Oakland, 4:25 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
This is the gimme game of the season for the 49ers.<\/p>\n
Week 15: Sunday, Dec. 14, at Seattle, 4:25 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
San Francisco just can\u2019t seem to win in Seattle \u2013 not many teams have the last few seasons! The Seahawks have blown the 49ers out of the Pacific Northwest the last few seasons with the crowd noise playing a huge factor.<\/p>\n
Week 16: Saturday, Dec. 20, San Diego, 4:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
The chargers are a tough team to figure out \u2013 who knows which San Diego team we\u2019ll see this year. But they are a \u201cC+ or B\u201d level team while the 49ers are an \u201cA\u201d team. San Francisco should be in the thick of the NFC West race at this point \u2013 expect a 49ers win here.<\/p>\n
Week 17: Sunday, Dec. 28, Arizona, 4:25 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Host Arizona in the season finale. I have gone on the assumption that the 49ers will split with all of their NFC West foes this year \u2013 home field being the big advantage. In that case, I have to go with the 49ers to prevail.<\/p>\n
Prediction:<\/strong> Vegas has set San Francisco\u2019s win total at 11. The schedule certainly looks favorable to attain that goal \u2013 their toughest games come within their division and on the road in New Orleans. 2014 has all the makings of a 12-4 season for the 49ers \u2013 anything less would be a disappointment!<\/p>\n
