But college basketball fans didn’t believe it was going to be the team below.

Where are the North Carolina Tar Heels? Where are the Duke Blue Devils?

Oh, they’re still two very good teams, but the Wake Forest Demon Deacons are the team in the ACC that online sportsbook betting fans should be concentrating on.

Let’s get to the rankings!

Great Eight BetUS NCAAB Basketball Betting Power Rankings

1. Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 16-0 straight-up, 8-4 against the BetUS online betting spread – – The Demon Deacons are just a very good team. They beat the Clemson Tigers by ten points, 78 to 68, on the road as +2.5 point favorites against the spread. That puts their against the spread total to 8 and 4. Can they keep it going? Maybe. Maybe this team is the class of the ACC, not the Dookies or the Tar Heels.

2. Duke Blue Devils, 16-1 straight-up, 9-6-1 against the BetUS online betting spread – – But Duke isn’t that bad. Sure, they pushed against the Georgetown Hoyas in their last game as -9 online betting favorites, but which college basketball betting fan really believed that the Devils were 9 points better than the Hoyas? I didn’t. So, in effect, they did sort of win against the spread, right? In any case, the ACC has proven to be the power conference in college basketball yet again with Wake Forest, Duke and North Carolina all playing at a high level in every game if not covering spreads.

3. Stanford Cardinal, 12-3 straight-up, 11-3 against the BetUS online betting spread – – Surprised? Yes, but no NCAAB betting fan should be. The Cardinal lost by only one point to the Washington Huskies, 84 to 83, as +6.5 point underdogs. Then, they lost by only one point to Washington State as +3 point underdogs. Finally, they beat Cal by 6 points as -3 point favorites. That means the Cardinal can stay in games and that’s what you want as an NCAAB online wagering fan.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignleft" style="margin: 1px; border: 1px solid #ffffff;" title="Betus NCAAB Betting" src="http://www.sportsimagestore.com/showbanner.asp?affid=11892&banid=1399 alt=" NCAAB Handicapping" width="250" height="250" />

4. Butler Bulldogs, 16-1 straight-up, 10-4-1 against the BetUS online betting spread – – The Bulldogs deserve this high-ranking because they have beaten almost every team they have faced this season and they have done so against the BetUS online wagering spread. Even their 54 to 51 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes was a win against the BetUS online betting spread as the Bulldogs were +7 underdogs in the BetUS online sportsbook.

5. Washington Huskies, 13-4 straight-up, 10-5 against the BetUS online betting spread – – The Huskies are studs against the spread because they just know how to stay in games. This team is one of the best coached teams I have seen in a long time. They failed against the spread against both the Stanford Cardinal and Cal but came back with two straight against the spread victories against the Oregon Ducks, as +4.5 favorites on the road, and the Oregon State Beavers, as +10.5 favorites on the road.

6. Kentucky Wildcats, 14-4 straight-up, 9-3-1 against the BetUS online betting spread – – Coach Billie Gillispie has gotten a lot out of this team. I’m gong to say that the Wildcats are back after they have covered in three straight games against Vanderbilt, as -9 favorites, Tennessee, as +6 underdogs, and Georgia as -8 favorites. Oh, the Wildcats won all three games straight-up as well.

7. California Golden Bears, 15-3 straight-up, 11-4 against the BetUS online betting spread – – This is the third Pac-10 team in these rankings not named UCLA or Arizona State. Why are they here? Do BetUS online basketball fans need to ask? An 11-4 against the spread record is absolutely amazing. It doesn’t matter who you are playing. Eight straight victories both straight-up and against the BetUS online wagering spread until their loss to Stanford makes them a great team for basketball betting fans right now.

8. Illinois Illini, 15-3 straight-up, 9-5 against the BetUS online betting spread – – That’s right. The lone Big-Ten team on this week’s power rankings isn’t named Wisconsin or Michigan State. It’s Illinois by virtue of their terrific four games above .500 against the spread record. Illinois covered against the Michigan Wolverines as -7 favorites and then beat the spread as +8 underdogs against the Michigan State Spartans.

It took a while but an ACC Conference team finally made its way to the top of the college basketball power rankings…

[551,1415
8932,8928,8929,8925,8926,8930,8931,2728,8927
post-7406","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-handicapping","category-ncaa-basketball","tag-college-basketball-power-rankings","tag-college-hoops-ats-betting","tag-college-hoops-ats-gambling","tag-college-hoops-handicapping-tips","tag-ncaa-basketball-teams","tag-ncaab-basketball-betting-power-rankings","tag-online-betting-spread","tag-online-sportsbook-betting","tag-top-ats-ncaa-basketball-teams
["GET
