The Chicago Bulls continue their West Coast trip on Thursday when they head out to Oakland for a prime time showdown with the Golden State Warriors. The second of those back-to-back losses saw the team shoot a woeful 28.2 percent from the field, their worst shooting effort since 2003. The team bounced back in their last outing, a crucial road win over Phoenix to get back to the .500 mark. The team was also lights out from the free throw line which really helped them down the stretch, connecting on 25 of 31 attempts on the night. The drudgery of a long season can wear on players, so breaking the season up into small but significant goals can really motivate players to give it their all night in and night out. Chicago has seemed to take the goal of staying at or above .500 very seriously, and it has reflected in their recent outings. After getting through a strong and streaking Phoenix team on Tuesday, Chicago will not want to fall back below that mark on Wednesday. The Warriors were playing their first game in four days on Tuesday when they took on Golden State and they just could not find their shooting stroke against a solid Charlotte defense. The Warriors shot just 31.2 percent from the field, their worst performance since 2004. The team\u2019s 75 points were also their second-lowest scoring total on the season. One good note for the team was the return of David Lee, though he seems to still have some rust to shake off after shooting 3-of-13 from the field and producing a season-low eight points against Charlotte.<\/p>\n
