The Montreal Canadiens will make the short trip down to the Canadian Tire Centre to take on the Ottawa Senators on Thursday night. The Senators have turned things around in a big way after a rough start to the season, winning six of their last seven games, while Montreal has been stuck in a rut of late, alternating wins and losses in their last seven games.<\/p>\n

Now the team begins a four-game road trip in Ottawa. The Canadiens dropped their last game in their own barn, 4-1 to the Devils.<\/p>\n Forward Max Pacioretty was the lone Canadien to find the back of the net in that one. He would open the scoring with his 20th goal of the season, but the team would get outscored 4-0 the rest of the way. Goaltender Carey Price faced only 18 shots in the game but let three of them get past him, with the Habs also surrendering an empty-net goal.<\/p>\n Ottawa\u2019s fortunes have been much better of late, with the team winning six of their last seven, and four in a row at home, claiming seven points on their recent four-game road trip. The team\u2019s fortunes have really changed over their last 10 games in which they\u2019ve gone 7-1-2. Ottawa\u2019s last game came in Minnesota, with the team claiming a 3-0 win over the Wild. The Senators could be down a man on the back end in this one as defenceman Chris Phillips was knocked out of the team\u2019s last game against the Wild after taking a puck to the face in the third period. Montreal could also be without one of its veterans as David Desharnais missed the New Jersey game with the flu and missed the team\u2019s practice on Wednesday as well.<\/p>\n These teams are trending in opposite directions but the betting public has yet to catch on. Getting a fair price on the team trending in the right direction is a pretty sweet deal.
