There is quite a drop-off after the top 5 and the Nuggets are the best of the second tier at the moment.<\/p>\nMavericks<\/strong> \u2013 Have quietly won two games in a row to climb to four games over .500. They have a tough week ahead but at the moment they are a top 10 team.<\/p>\nRockets<\/strong> \u2013 Not many people are talking about the Rockets and they have lost two straight \u2013 to the Jazz and the Suns. But they are 7-3 in their last 10 games and are maybe the biggest threat to all of the top 5.<\/p>\nClippers<\/strong> \u2013 The Clippers should be a top 5 team but they haven\u2019t quite found their groove yet. They currently occupy the #4 seed in the West and have the talent to contend. We are still waiting for them to put it all together however.

\nWarriors<\/strong> – The Warriors started strong but have come back down to earth a little bit \u2013 coincidentally at the same time Andre Iguodala went down with a bad hammy. They are still a top 10 team in the Rankings but barely.<\/p>\nWizards<\/strong> \u2013 The Wiz are just a .500 team but they do occupy the #3 seed in the East – incredible. They are hot right now \u2013 7-3 in their last 10 games and are barely worthy of a place in my Dirty Dozen.<\/p>\nGrizzlies<\/strong> \u2013 Marc Gasol is out with a strained MCL which will hurt this team but this team has the talent to rise in the Rankings once they get their game in order.<\/p>\n\n- Hawks<\/strong><\/li>\n
