The Longhorns lost to Oklahoma State 38-13 two games ago, but made up for it with a strong win over Texas Tech. Now both of these programs face off Saturday night in a game that has championship implications on the line for Baylor.<\/p>\n Over the last eight games, Texas has 33 sacks. That\u2019s the No. 1 mark in the entire FBS, and it\u2019s something to look out for with the Longhorns face up against quarterback Bryce Petty.<\/p>\n Watch for defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat. He has 63 tackles on the year\u201419 for losses\u2014and he has 10 sacks. He\u2019s coming off of a career performance that saw him record three sacks against Texas Tech, and if he can keep that momentum moving forward, he\u2019ll help put some serious pressure on Baylor\u2019s star quarterback.<\/p>\n Baylor\u2019s defense has been improved this season, but an unimposing schedule may have something to do with that. Texas must come out ready to attack quickly on offense, and that includes running the ball straight down the throat of the Bears. Texas may be known for getting to the quarterback, but DE Chris McAllister can make that exact same claim. He has 15 career sacks, which is tied for the most in team history, and he\u2019ll look to keep that number rising in this matchup against the Longhorns.<\/p>\n On offense, look for Lache Seastrunk to provide a spark. He had a big game last week coming back from injury\u2014so did Glasco Martin\u2014and he will take the pressure off of Bryce Petty. If the run game can get going early, it\u2019s going to force Texas\u2019 dominant front line to focus away from the pass, which will ultimately open up the throwing game when it\u2019s all said and done.<\/p>\n Baylor enters this game as a two-touchdown favorite, but if they fell to Texas, it wouldn\u2019t be the first time the Longhorns won when they weren\u2019t expected to.<\/p>\n Texas was a two-touchdown underdog when they took down Oklahoma earlier this season, showing that anything can happen when you least expect it.<\/p>\n Unfortunately for Texas, that game had a mystique about it that this one is lacking.<\/p>\n The Red River Rivalry gets both sides pumped up regardless of the spread, and the Longhorns came out with their coach\u2019s job on the line and got the job done.<\/p>\n Against Baylor, don\u2019t expect it to be so dramatic.
