NFL Power Rankings \u2013 Where Every Team Sits After Week 12<\/strong><\/p>\n

Week 12 is in the books and oh \u2013 what a week it was. The Broncos lost, the Chiefs suffered their second straight defeat and the Colts continue to slide down the Rankings at a rapid pace. Only two of last week\u2019s Top 4 won this week \u2013 the other two were on byes! So how does it all affect this week\u2019s Power Rankings? <\/p>\n

Let`s take a look at where every teams stands after another scintillating week of NFL Football.<\/p>\n

1. SEAHAWKS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 2)<\/p>\n

Six straight wins overall and 13 straight on home field has the Hawks atop the NFC and with the best record in Football. This week will be a challenge however \u2013 they will be forced to play without two of their stout defensive backs (one is injured and the other was smoking something he shouldn\u2019t have). <\/p>\n

The Saints are coming to town Monday night \u2013 the winner of that contest will be #1 next week for sure.<\/p>\n

2. BRONCOS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 1)<\/p>\n

Beat the Chiefs in Week 11 and let one slip away from them in New England in what lived up to be a classic game. If the first half of Sunday night\u2019s game was any indication \u2013 the Broncos would have easily been #1 easily \u2013 too bad about the second half in Foxborough. Peyton can\u2019t win in cold weather but Knowshon Moreno\u2019s 224 yards on the ground was a good sign \u2013 IF HE IS HEALTHY going into Week 13!<\/p>\n

3. SAINTS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 4)<\/p>\n

The Saints climb in the Rankings despite not even playing. We know the offense is elite but the Saints defense is what lands them in the #3 spot. They play Seattle this week and have Carolina two of the next three weeks after that \u2013 the Saints will be tested!<\/p>\n

4. PANTHERS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 5)<\/p>\n

Seven wins in a row \u2013 they could be as high as #2 on the Rankings to be honest. They are a team that nobody wants to play right now and even with Cam Newton not playing his best, the defense has shown that they are huge contributors to the Panthers success.<\/p>\n

5. PATRIOTS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 6)<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve said it before and I will say it again \u2013 never, ever count out Brady and Belichek. Sunday night produced a comeback for the ages and proved that the Pats are never out of a game. Gotta love the Patriots!<\/p>\n

6. CHIEFS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 3)<\/p>\n

We were all waiting for the Chiefs stumble and it is happening right now \u2013 two straight losses has them slipping to #6. Some injuries \u2013 Tamba Hali and Justin Houston specifically are a huge concern right now \u2013 so is the overall play of the former #1.<\/p>\n

7. 49ERS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week\u2019s Ranking: 11)<\/p>\n

Put their foot on the pedals in the second half Monday night against Washington and put up a defensive effort for the ages. The Niners are getting healthier on offense and the defense is lights out right now. Look out for the 49ers!<\/p>\n

8. BENGALS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 9)<\/p>\n

Had the bye last week and like the others that had a week off \u2013 they climbed the Rankings! Good news \u2013 linebacker Rey Maualuga should play this weeks as well as Devon Still. The running game and defense have been solid all season lone \u2013 a little more consistency fro Andy Dalton would be nice though!

\n9. COLTS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 7)<\/p>\n

Ugh! What is going on with this team? The offense is completely out of whack and the team seems to be lost on when the games actually start. Trent Richardson can take some blame \u2013 the coaches can also take the rest for not getting the team ready to go from the first whistle.<\/p>\n

10. CARDINALS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 18)<\/p>\n

Are 5-2 in their last seven games and Carson Palmer seems to finally be getting it. Now the Cardinals with a 7-4 record hold down one of the Wild Card spots in the NFC. The Cards defense is superb and as long as Carson Palmer keeps taking care of the ball, the Cards could be the surprise of the league this year.<\/p>\n

11. EAGLES<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 12)<\/p>\n

Yet another team that had a week off and finds themselves advancing in the Rankings! They play the Cards this week \u2013 quite a test but with Nick Foles, Shady McCoy and a defense that is improving every week, the Eagles are a legitimate threat in the NFC East.<\/p>\n

12. COWBOYS<\/strong> <\/em>(Last Week: 17)<\/p>\n

The Cowboys won\u2019t get any style points for their win Sunday but the defense for once played well enough to secure the win. Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and DeMarco Murray each had a hand in their win Sunday \u2013 a good sign going forward for this team. They are 4-0 in their division so far \u2013 something that could come in handy at season\u2019s end.<\/p>\n

13. CHARGERS (Last Week: 19)<\/strong>
\n 14. LIONS (Last Week: 8)<\/strong>
\n 15. BEARS (Last Week: 10)<\/strong>
\n 16. STEELERS (Last Week: 21)<\/strong>
\n 17. RAMS (Last Week: 22)<\/strong>
\n 18. RAVENS (Last Week: 24)<\/strong>
\n 19. TITANS (Last Week: 26)<\/strong>
\n 20. PACKERS (Last Week: 13)<\/strong>
\n 21. DOLPHINS (Last Week: 14)<\/strong>
\n 22. GIANTS (Last Week 20)<\/strong>
\n 23. JETS (Last Week: 16)<\/strong>
\n 24. BILLS (Last Week: 23)<\/strong>
