QB Braxton Miller has been a top level player, when Miller was hurt Kenny Guiton stepped in and ran the offense smoothly. Halfback Carlos Hyde is a very explosive player who has ran for 700 yards this season.

CLICK TO GRAB OUR Expert CFB Picks for 2013 NCAA FOOTBALL Betting!

Halfback Jordan Hall has scored 8 touchdowns to lead the club, wide receiver Philly Brown leads the club 547 receiving yards and 8 receiving touchdowns. Basically, Ohio State is very explosive. They have a lot of talent on the offensive side. On the defensive side is where I worry about them.

I don’t like their defense. They’ve given up 17 points a game this season, which is good, but there are a lot of weak offenses in the Big Ten. And against some of the better teams in the conference, their defense has been exposed a bit. They gave up 24 to Wisconsin, Northwestern put up 30, Iowa scored 24, heck even in the non-conference games Buffalo scored 20 and California scored 34.

So, with all that said, I don’t like their defense I think it’ll get exposed against a real top 10-15 team, but they aren’t playing a top 10 team.

They are playing the Fighting Illini.T

hey shouldn’t have too much trouble in this game on the defensive side.

Illinois Fighting Illini

Urban Meyer made a joke about senior Quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase has been with the team for the last “20 or 30 years”.
[soliloquy id=”82219″]
It seems that way, hasn’t it? Scheelhaase is the senior signal caller for Illinois and he is a good player who is having a good year. This year has been his best year to date throwing for 65%, 2420 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 8 INTs.

Unfortunately, for the Illini he’s been about there only bright spot this season. Their defense has been as soft as butter. Illinois have allowed more than 42 points per game in their last 5 contests and against their respective conference foes they’ve allowed a whopping 301 yards per game on the ground. Coming into this game that’s what Ohio State averages per game.

This game could get real ugly real fast.

I do think Illinois will put up their fair share of points.

Perhaps a couple in garbage time, but obviously this is a tough task for Illinois and their only star player is Scheelhaase to try and keep this close-ish.

Danny’s FREE College Football Pick:

The Buckeyes are the much better team. That much is obvious.

In this spot, at -32, I believe Ohio State is the pick. At -32 I believe Ohio State is a good pick. Any higher, especially, hitting those magic numbers of 34, 34.5, 35, 35.5 and then it gets a bit tricky. Ohio State would still, probably, be the pick, but it would be tough.

You’d have to beware of a backdoor cover, but at -32, you should be good to go with the Buckeyes.

Pick: Ohio State -32
Prediction: Ohio State Buckeyes 56 – Illinois 20

Buckeyes vs Fighting Illini College Football Lines The Ohio State Buckeyes look to remain undefeated and keep the longest current winning streak in college football (21 wins a row) alive as they face the Fighting Illini.

[13
1581,4563,2956,579,2954,1582,8023,35470,4564
post-69048","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-ncaa-football","tag-buckeyes","tag-buckeyes-vs-fighting-illini","tag-fighting-illini","tag-illinois","tag-illinois-fighting-illini","tag-ohio-st","tag-ohio-st-buckeyes","tag-ohio-st-buckeyes-vs-illinois-fighting-illini","tag-ohio-st-vs-illinois
["GET
