The Arkansas Razorbacks are mired in a terrible losing streak, with their 3-0 start just a distant memory. This weekend they get an Ole Miss Rebels team that is heading in the opposite direction, and could be in for more disappointment. <\/p>\n

The Razorbacks are coming out of a stretch in which they played five consecutive SEC opponents, each of whom was ranked inside the top 25 in the AP poll. Most recently, the team fell to Auburn, 35-17.<\/p>\n Head coach Bret Bielema did what he could to help end his team\u2019s slump, but nothing in the playbook was enough to get his team over the hump. Quarterback Brandon Allen completed just 10 of 22 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown. While they didn\u2019t have any success through the air, the team had a decent day on the ground. As a team, the Razorbacks churned out 222 yards, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.<\/p>\n The team\u2019s defense didn\u2019t see much variance in Auburn\u2019s attack. The Tigers ran the ball 46 times versus only nine passes. Running back Tre Mason got 32 carries, and made the most of his opportunities. Mason rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns in the game. The team\u2019s defense smothered Idaho, more so than the score indicates. Idaho quarterback Taylor Davis completed only 12 of 30 passes for 166 yards. The Vandals rushed the ball 36 times in the game, but those carries turned into just 87 yards. The Rebels also forced the only turnover of the game, recovering a fumble.<\/p>\n There\u2019s not a lot to love about the season either side has had, with the lone exception being Ole Miss\u2019s upset of LSU. The Rebels enter in much better form, while the Razorbacks are stuck in the mud. \nStill riding high off of their upset win over then No. 6 LSU the week before, the Rebels could have laid an egg against Idaho, but the team instead kept their wits about them and beat up on Idaho, 59-14. Quarterback Bo Wallace didn\u2019t play the entire game, but he caused some damage before he left, completing 15 of 22 passes for 186 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Running back Jaylen Walton took a seat early as well, but rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown before exiting.<\/p>\n
